Flashing Lights – So Much Potential, Yet Still Feels Unfinished

Story:
There isn't much of a story here, and that's perfectly fine. The appeal comes from roleplaying as police, firefighters, EMS or recently DoT personnel and responding to various emergencies. The concept itself is genuinely fun and has massive potential.
Game Mechanics:
The core gameplay loop is enjoyable, but the overall experience feels surprisingly rough for a fully released game. AI behavior is repetitive and often unrealistic, driving physics feel awkward, and shooting mechanics are merely serviceable. Multiplayer can also be frustrating due to strange bugs that occasionally prevent players from entering vehicles, equipping tools, or performing simple actions. Despite years of development and numerous DLCs, it feels like the focus has shifted more toward cosmetics and new classes rather than addressing the game's underlying issues. Compared to something like heavily modded GTA V LSPDFR, Flashing Lights often feels emptier and less polished.
Pros and Cons

Pros:
+Great concept with huge potential. +Plenty of roles and activities. +Fun with friends. +Mod support extends the experience. +Relaxing sandbox-style gameplay.
Cons:
-Graphics are somewhat janky for a fully released game. -Multiplayer still suffers from weird bugs. -AI driving and traffic behavior are poor and unrealistic. -Driving physics and gunplay feel mediocre. -Emergency calls become repetitive quickly. (This could be crossed out by using mods) -DLC additions seem to outweigh meaningful improvements. -The game still feels like Early Access despite being fully released.
Conclusion
When people said "keep up the good work," they meant improving the foundation of the game, not endlessly adding cosmetics and classes while long-standing issues remain. Flashing Lights is a game with enormous potential, but it simply isn't there yet. If this were still an Early Access title, I'd probably recommend it. As a full release, however, it falls short of what it could have been. 4/10 Until next time. Take care, everyone.
Great concept, but the execution is mediocre and overpromises on what it delivers. The game is buggy, repetitive, and not very intuitive. After a few minutes, the gameplay becomes stale because you're essentially dealing with the same incidents over and over again. The lack of more complex scenarios, intelligent NPC behavior, and useful AI-controlled officers is particularly disappointing. There is a solid foundation here, but the game needs significantly more depth, variety, and polish. With substantial improvements, it has the potential to become an excellent game.
Broken mess of a game. It's fun for 10 minutes, until you need ot do anything more than run around and press the left click. Buttons to control the radio are barely explained. Controler keybinds stay on my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ screen dispite me not using a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ controller. AI people are unresponsive. OH LOOK, YOU ARESTED THE SAME PED SIX TIMES IN A ROW for various mundane stuff. The so called "controls" tab in settings doesn't save, and doesn't even show me the controls I need to fix other control issues. Don't buy this game, waste of money. Dev doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ either.
This game is good and I enjoy playing it, but there is one issue i cannot avoid. Despite the specifications of my PC of which can run battlefield 6 in 4k at 100fps runs like a snail and lags insanely and i cant find a fix. This is in the vanilla game with no mods added.
As a police officer.... this game has very much to be desired (I know there are probably limits to what you can do in a game such as this, I do community modding for other games) there is no vehicle damage meaning PITs are useless...AI backup are just extra cars to dodge, criminal charges are few such as (stop sign/red light violations, if a violator has no insurance, that's a charge and you tow the vehicle. It's a fun game, repetitive at times, but it's mind numbing. If I could advise on better patrol aspects, I would. As a police officer, this game is tough to swallow.... I would put more, but it would fall on deaf ears.
This game is terrible. For example my stretcher fell over due to physics. Spent nearly 15 minutes figuring out how to get it upright. It required me to crouch to push the stretcher into a position where the indicator would allow me to grab it, but then the character stayed in crouch. 30 minutes is enough to know I'm done with this.
Nah, I'd just play the LSPD modded GTA 5, better graphics, less buggy, doesnt feel empty, etc.
I can't find why this game was so hyped up when I originally got it by most of my friends. I played for a little bit and it was pretty good at first, but then it kept getting boring and worse. The game and just about every update just seemed rushed and there were multiple bugs I found while playing. Would not recommend.
its actually really good. i expected to refund this but i really enjoy it. now for a disclaimer.. ive never been a cop, but even tho i have gotten sober and changed my life, ive spent a lot of time in the back of these cars and watching the officers i have in my past, this is pretty close to how it goes. i really gotta give it to them, they turned boring parts of the job into something very fun imo. i got it on sale but id gladly pay full for it if i had to. the only con i can say really kinda hampered the experience for me was the spawn distance of things. its not very far and i can forgive it but it does it w the cars as well. ive ran into the back of countless spawning cars. but turning the traffic down to 3 fixed it mostly. i think the cars spawn at a random distance or something bc ive seen cars spawn in so well i didnt notice all the way to rearending. but again setting the traffic to 3 fixes it mostly. lol u even have an ar assault rifle in the trunk.
Nice Game =)
