About
Jump Space (formerly Jump Ship) is a mission based co-op PvE for up to 4 players, where you are the crew of a spaceship. Transition seamlessly from crewing the ship to on-foot exploration and space walks. Engage in intense battles both on the ground and in space, and always keep your ship upgraded and intact. Teamwork is key for survival and victory.
We love co-op games, and we love space. Jump Space is our attempt to make both work together.
Jump across the universe - Select from a variety of hand-crafted missions with random elements. No two runs are ever the same.
Seamlessly go on and off ship - Once you’ve jumped with your ship, you can switch seamlessly between operating your ship, space walking and on-foot planetary exploration, it just works.
Upgrade, maintain, repair - Manage your ship as you scavenge for parts to upgrade or repair it, and adapt it to fit your needs. Bolster your arsenal of guns and components with tons of modifiers.
Fly with a crew, or go solo - Jump Space is best enjoyed with friends, but solo adventurers are welcome too.
Upgrade and customise your ship and guns as you face off against the challenges of space exploration, and scavenge resources to ensure your survival. Reinforce your defences, adjust your energy output for speed or bolster your ship’s attack capabilities - the choice is yours.
Experience fluid gameplay as you switch from steering your ship out of an asteroid field to jetpacking towards an enemy vessel to sabotage its core. Seamlessly transition between exploration, combat and traversal.
Go on missions with your friends and take on roles, from piloting to engineering and field exploration. Work together to overcome enemy attacks, extinguish fires on the command deck or adjust your ship’s power grid on the fly. There are no set classes in Jump Space, improvise and decide how you want to engage.

Great start to something I think will develop into a great game and community
you go fight bad ships and fly around in space its fun and its space :D P.S a friend gave me this game. i did not think it was gonna be this good
The game is in a solid space (pun intended.) A little more simmering and I imagine this game can become one of the greatest in terms of having just a good time with the lads. Gameplay is like Barotrauma was a first person shooter that didn't hate you, with more of a standard Roguelite gameplay loop. I recommend now, and I will strongly recommend if the devs keep up the great work. I would prefer some more customization options ( I imagine that's planned.) The tutorial misses out on some core mechanics of the game, but I think that's for the best. Learning on the ship feels lively and engaging. The first time I rodeo'd an enemy ship and took it down solo I lost my ♥♥♥♥. Very good game with a solid team of heads working on it. I expect great things from these people.
genuinely one of my favorite games I've ever played, I would absolutely recommend it to every one
I do.. i really DO want to leave a positive review, the base game is solid, fun, and pretty well put together, BUT.. THE CORE of the game doesn't even work properly. MASSIVE desynch all the time, making Ship battle an HELL to do, Struggle fest, even thoo we are on the same region. Ship goes back and forth, zoom around and about, goes through enemie ship and sometime, drag someone that was on board, out of the ship and onto the enemie ship.. Many instance of enemie ship stuck behind surface or ground, making the mission either a failure (after spending 40+mins..), or until figuring out how to glitch someone through the ground, get to it to get aggro to proceed. Probably due to the desynch too.. but the mining laser hit scan doesn't work how it should.. never through i'd have to lead my shot with a laser beam.. nor does it hit even right on target, felt like RNG. Enemie spawn gets also to be absurd, 10 crawling liltle spiders spawn +5 flying drones, +2 heavy spider, +4 more walkers, all at the same time, on a difficulty 3/4 mission.. I'm not one to hate challenge, but that's absurd and unfair as they all spawn at the same time right on top of you, and you barely have ammo to cover it all. -- I don't know what happened, there was definitly a jump in gameplay and interesting features, but at the cost of QoL. Don't get me wrong, the game is fun and enjoyable still, and all that, but the semi broken looking core mechanic of the game, and the insane desynch destroys my experience, and i don't think i ever dealt with that much BS when i had got on the game for the first time back then. -- Review may change over time.
EA review and I imagine some or all of the things I mention will improve Good: - Gunplay - Movement (grapple, jetpack, rotation with jetpack) - Ship combat (much better than Starfield and NMS, a little worse than Star Wars Squadrons imo) - Enemies - Mission variety (this one really surprised me) - Power system - The environments (I love the broken surroundings, beautiful to look at and fight in) - Multiplayer where there are a lot of roles people can play as - Materia system is fun I think the good vastly outweighs the bad but there are Improvements that could be made I want to mention (just my opinion): - Attachments/scopes are limited to guns you pick up, there needs to be a way to swap out attachments (it sucks because the scopes are actually very good) - Limited gun slots, I think it needs to be expanded greatly so I can use more tools in land combat - Blueprints for weapons limited to 6. I think blueprints for weapons just needs to go in favor of being able to change to what weapon you want (you can already change weapons before missions at no cost so I think it is weird to have the barrier) - More graphic/video options please - More memorable npcs, the robots Iris and Buddy feel more alive than the humans
I love jumping in some space
