About
Jump Space (formerly Jump Ship) is a mission based co-op PvE for up to 4 players, where you are the crew of a spaceship. Transition seamlessly from crewing the ship to on-foot exploration and space walks. Engage in intense battles both on the ground and in space, and always keep your ship upgraded and intact. Teamwork is key for survival and victory.
We love co-op games, and we love space. Jump Space is our attempt to make both work together.
Jump across the universe - Select from a variety of hand-crafted missions with random elements. No two runs are ever the same.
Seamlessly go on and off ship - Once you’ve jumped with your ship, you can switch seamlessly between operating your ship, space walking and on-foot planetary exploration, it just works.
Upgrade, maintain, repair - Manage your ship as you scavenge for parts to upgrade or repair it, and adapt it to fit your needs. Bolster your arsenal of guns and components with tons of modifiers.
Fly with a crew, or go solo - Jump Space is best enjoyed with friends, but solo adventurers are welcome too.
Upgrade and customise your ship and guns as you face off against the challenges of space exploration, and scavenge resources to ensure your survival. Reinforce your defences, adjust your energy output for speed or bolster your ship’s attack capabilities - the choice is yours.
Experience fluid gameplay as you switch from steering your ship out of an asteroid field to jetpacking towards an enemy vessel to sabotage its core. Seamlessly transition between exploration, combat and traversal.
Go on missions with your friends and take on roles, from piloting to engineering and field exploration. Work together to overcome enemy attacks, extinguish fires on the command deck or adjust your ship’s power grid on the fly. There are no set classes in Jump Space, improvise and decide how you want to engage.

Very fun for being early access, excited to see where the devs go as they add more ships and missions

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Too buggy / unbalanced to recommend. The difficulty scaling feels off for multiplayer, mostly due to having or losing the buddy robot between 2-3 players. And when I was joining games the space combat was always bugged so that host was killing ships that on my screen were no where near being in the path of their lasers. It just looks silly 100% of the time as the main ship weapons are not hitting anything. Completely breaks immersion. That and the activatable shields are a TERRIBLE idea for both the pilot (they are just useless) and the "gunner" because it is boring AF to be riding shotgun just to press a shield button every 20 seconds. Wait for more balance updates.
TLDR don't recommend it much for solo players Just not worth it playing solo on harder difficulty runs too much to micro manage. - Making ship repairs and recharging shields can be hard and sometimes pointless as you immediately can get shot at and your ships needs more repairs somewhere else in the middle of the fight is the main culprit in my frustration Definitely need a squad to run with in this game which i know is the point of this game but adult be adulting not everyone has friends who are available to play at the same time as i do or convince them to buy an early access game and spend whatever precious time they do have on a early access game. The price seems about right for what is available at this moment. besides that the game is fun if it wasn't i would have refunded within the first hour but once you get away from the beginning it can be less fun for some solo players. Hope solo play gets better but wont be surprised if this is not the focus in the game development in the future
sucks i guess...
Great game, but it might turn for the better or for worse. Single player experience is crap at the moment. Bad events happen way to often, levels that say easy have elite frigates in them (seriously?!?). If it becomes a bit less annoying for solo, i would be happy to recommend. Please do not encourage companies by purchasing games in early access.
Performance has not improved for AMD hardware one bit since the Early Access launch back in September 2025. Otherwise if you are not on said hardware I'd recommend this game.
★★★★★ I wanted to play a space game. Now I’m apparently the unpaid maintenance guy. I went into Jump Space thinking: “Cool, a co-op space game. Fly around, shoot some stuff, explore a little. How bad could it be?” A few hours later, I realized I had apparently become an unpaid spaceship mechanic. While one of my friends is floating around outside the ship like an astronaut who has absolutely no idea why he’s out there, I’m running through the corridors trying to figure out why something is on fire again. And honestly? I love it. Jump Space is basically what happens when Helldivers, Deep Rock Galactic and a spaceship maintenance simulator have a terrible night and somehow create a video game. The spaceship The ship itself is easily one of my favorite parts. You actually have to DO things. Repair systems. Fix damage. Fly the ship. Manage stations. Run around trying to figure out who the hell broke the reactor this time. Then the voice chat starts: “WHO BROKE THE SHIELDS?!” “I don’t know, I thought YOU were flying!” “WHY IS THE ENGINE RED?!” Silence. That special kind of silence where everyone realizes: We’re going to die. Space combat Flying the ship is pretty accessible, and honestly, I like that. I don’t need 47 different keybinds just to turn left. I want to fly a spaceship. I don’t want to accidentally become a NASA employee. When everything works, though? It’s awesome. You’re flying through space, shooting enemies, alarms are going off, someone is repairing the ship, and another guy is screaming: “I’M OUTSIDE AND I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO GET BACK!” That, right there, is co-op gaming. Spacewalking And then you leave the ship. And suddenly you realize: Space is REALLY freaking big. You float around, repair something, grab some loot, and eventually think: “Wait… where’s the ship?” You turn around. The ship is now approximately the size of a grain of rice. You are approximately 800 meters away. Congratulations. Your new mission is: “Figure out how to get back without dying like an idiot.” Spacewalking is basically swimming lessons where the swimming instructor is NASA and there is no water. Playing with friends This game is at its best with friends. Because every mission eventually turns into a workplace accident in space. One guy is flying. One guy is repairing. One guy is outside. And the fourth guy? Missing for five minutes. Then he comes back: “Guys, I found loot!” “What is it?” “No idea.” “What does it do?” “No idea.” “Why did you pick it up?” “BECAUSE IT WAS SHINY.” And honestly? That’s why we play co-op games. The missions The missions are fun, but this is definitely where you can still feel the Early Access side of the game. Some objectives can get repetitive, and sometimes a mission lasts long enough that you start wondering: “Am I playing a video game or did I accidentally sign up for a night shift?” Especially when you spend 20 minutes repairing your ship... ...only for something to explode again 30 seconds later. But then you get that one mission. Everything goes wrong. Someone dies. The ship is on fire. The pilot crashes into something. The guy outside is screaming for help. And suddenly everyone in voice chat is laughing so hard they can barely breathe. That’s where Jump Space really shines. The bugs Yes. There are bugs. Sometimes enemies behave like they personally rejected the laws of physics. Sometimes things don't work exactly the way you expect. And sometimes the game apparently wakes up and decides: “Your progress? Not today.” But: Early Access. You know what you're getting into. And yet... I keep coming back. And that's probably the biggest compliment I can give it. Because underneath the bugs, occasional repetition and those moments where you just want to scream at your monitor, there is a really damn fun co-op game here. Especially with friends. The best moments aren't scripted. You can have a perfectly planned mission... ...and one idiot saying: “I think I can fix it.” Five seconds later, half the ship is on fire. Beautiful. Final verdict Is Jump Space perfect? No. Is it finished? Also no. Does it sometimes make me question my life choices? Absolutely. Is it ridiculously fun with friends? YES. If you like co-op games where everything can go completely off the rails and a simple mission can turn into an intergalactic disaster involving four highly unqualified astronauts: Highly recommended. You’re not really a professional space crew. You’re just a group of idiots who were given access to a spaceship. And apparently that was a terrible decision. 10/10 — would go to space again and probably get stranded outside the ship.
