edit: level numbers finally got cleared up and changed on the store page. 520 solitaire instead of 600 and 100 mahjong instead of 150, so now it says '620(!) oceanic levels' for maximum confusion, as one would expect 620 solitare levels in a solitaire. well done... jewel match solitaire is a long-running card game series, the usual +1/-1 gameplay in various settings with the usual power-ups, decoration/upgrade elements and various extras. this one is especially phoned-in, they didn't even come up with a new theme, just made another underwater one. then another after this, then an underwater match-3. ironically, their imagination dried up. at least it's not more christmas or halloween. 520 levels (the store page used to claim 600 for years, blatant lie, now it says 620, which includes mahjong, unlike on store pages for previous games, so it's still misleading), 400 are just like before, divided into two maps, 3-star rating, but supersize and challenge levels are new. the former has a lot more cards (think 8floor's solitaires), the latter has goals like playing x cards in a row or a sequence. no 3-star rating here, both are only won if all the cards are removed and challenges are completed. they all have to be unlocked with stars, of course. there are 60 supersize and 60 challenge levels, they can take a while but only provide chump change. if challenge levels were guaranteed solvable, they'd actually be worth trying. rng is part of solitaire, not every layout or attempt will be a winner, but goals are fixed for each stage and not even providing a chance to reach them with card placement is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. 10 underwater scenes to build. get emeralds from the levels, unlock a random piece, when all done, move on to the next. scenes are a tiny bit more involved here, as you can set which fish you'd like to see swim around on the screen and unlock more fish by playing bonus games outlined below. props for making use of them somehow, but a 'quest' (cave on the map with a star requirement) to win 3 (later 5) levels for a random fish is not even remotely tempting. and naturally, the fish manager is only available from the main menu, and with such a messy menu/ui (see below), the only way to access quests is by clicking the shiny icons on the map. the 3 difficulty settings offer wildly different experiences. even on relaxed a star is taken away if you need more than one run through the deck. always completable but not necessarily for 3 stars. normal only allows a single deal, as is customary. hard adds a timer to speed up your card-picking decisions, which is like adding a timer to... well, anything, but if there's a game that doesn't need a ticking clock... well, it's every game, but solitaire especially. difficulty settings can be changed anytime and simply 'solving' a level unlocks the next, don't need a single star to continue. power-ups are bought with gold and come in the usual variety, including wildcards and jokers that can also be found randomly. replaying levels, getting achievements and playing bonus games also award gold, and most power-ups can be upgraded to become more beneficial. it isn't clear from the descriptions, but only wildcards and jokers are consumables, the rest are either passive or a certain number per level. 24 other card variants are also available:

acme one
augustus
barrister
blind nestor
double yukon
eight off
forty thieves
freecell
gretchen
klondike
la danta
the mill
morgiana
morocco
pandinus
pyramid
rose garden
spider
sultan
thrice
the tudors
waterloo
woodford
yukon
rules are provided, but there's still no timer toggle. undo, hints and autoplay are all available, but another downside is, bonus games all have to be unlocked with stars gotten from regular levels. so it's not like other card collections where you can just play whatever you want. in fact, most of the collector's edition stuff only unlocks after finishing the main game's 200 levels, including another 200 levels with 5 more scenes, other bonus levels, more power-ups and card game variants. and instead of re-doing the ui to present a coherent and complete experience, they're lazily treating it as 'base game + more of the same hidden behind menus upon menus'. it's an absolute mess every time, more so with all the fluff they keep adding. if you click the shop on the bonus map, it brings up the regular shop. want to buy the new power-ups? click 'extras menu' and the shop there, then 'back', then 'extra levels' to get back to the map. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous. and solitaire variants are now divided into not 2 but 3 menus (classic, more in another window and even more in the ce menu). also, music resets every time the main menu is loaded, even if you're just clicking around in other menus there. for some reason there are also 100 mahjong levels (and not 150, as the store page promised for years!). I like mahjong, but the one on offer here is not good and don't think every layout is solvable as is), and if I sit down for solitaire, I'm not really interested in unrelated bonus or mini-games anyway. not to mention they are unlocked in batches with stars from card levels and you pretty much need to finish the game to get access to the last few (they're also divided between base game and ce). mahjong has undo, shuffle and a show free tiles toggle, plus rules, tips and a hint button, and instead of an instant game over, running out of moves lets you shuffle as well. too bad it doesn't always produce matches and still no toggle for the timer. predictably beautiful audiovisual presentation (pretty sure the music is from the previous game), separate volume settings, windowed mode (non-resizable), widescreen toggle, custom cursor, and a bunch of card backs and fronts are available, plus there's an optional tutorial, a music player, wallpapers and concept art/making of. no strategy guide this time. unfortunately, settings aren't available while playing bonus games, have to go back to the menu to change anything. esc doesn't bring up the pause menu either, but they got rid of the excessive amount of bubbles in the background. aside from all the bloat, lying on the store page until I pointed things out, more and more awkward menu navigation and still unresponsive wand power-up, it would be a recommendable card game with tons of content, but if you're not a slave to solitaire like myself, just pick one on sale with the theme you like best (might be this) and/or the most content (so not this). they always unnecessarily 1-up themselves with their latest release, but if the store page is to be believed (big if now), atlantis 3 has almost the same amount of content as the first two games combined, more of everything and the same theme for the same price. and since they turned out to be one of those feedback-deleting folks, even ignoring the burning question of the level numbers for a while (twice!), which, bafflingly, was never noticed by any of their business partners or customers (or maybe they just deleted those questions as well), this is the end of my jewel match run. don't need more underwater stuff anyway and not even gonna bother with their generic match-3 output.
Sehr gute Arbeit! Very good work! Solid solitaire with many repeatable levels in three levels of difficulty: you can choose relaxed, normal and hard. It is played on the +1/-1 map layout. For supplements there is the shop, where you can equip yourself with bonus features that make leveling much easier. As candies, there are additional levels with different solitaire variants. As usual, different artworks are built up through the jewels earned. You earn the achievements "by the way". 10 attractive backgrounds can be played as scenes. Card layouts are also very nice: The artwork is loving and consistent, there are different decks and backs. The best way to buy the game is on sale, although it also takes long enough to buy it normally. If you like good solitaires, you should add this one to your collection. Wallpapers are also back and the soundtrack fits well. A few biscuits too? Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies Ingredients 1/3 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup sugar 1 large egg, room temperature 1/2 cup mashed ripe banana 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips Directions In a small bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, banana and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 13-16 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.
This is sooo grindy. From a quick search it seems like this isn't a port of a pay-to-win mobile game, so why the hell is this so annoyingly grindy? Not recommended.
This is Atlantis #1 on steroids. They've really bumped up the challenges and added new items. In the main game you can find: Seals now have numbers, meaning you have to click on a red/black card that number of times to release; Cards that give you more cards in your draw stack. However, I'm on level 30, but I have not seen any free Joker or regular bonus cards come up. Counting leftover cards to earn additional gold is back! 1 gold per leftover card. (It was not there in Jewel Match Solitaire Collector's Edition.) * Classic solitaire games (Klondike, Freecell, Pyramid, Yukon, etc.) These come ready to play. * Super-size levels - A lot more bigger board (number of cards) that you have to remove. They're locked bonus rounds until you earn a set amount of stars. * Challenge levels - Gained as you earn stars. Gives you a solitaire level with a challenge (like play 4 cards in a row.) * Solitaire and Mahjong variants - Able to play as you earn stars. * Fish manager (it was if they read my review on Atlantis #1!) They have fish that are unlocked as you achieve challenges that come up (they consist of having to win 3 games that include one of each, classic solitaire, Mahjong, super-sized level or challenge, etc., so they're not easy to get! Click on the "eye" (lower right corner) and you have a peaceful scene with all your fish swimming around! Plus 24 trophies and the usual, locked achievements.
Although I do like this game, and it's enjoyable, I cannot give a thumbs up to a game where there are levels that, realistically, you cannot complete due to the fact that the level of luck required is so high. It’s an unfortunate trademark of games in this franchise, levels that require an inordinate amount of luck to complete, and is a problem that they, for whatever reason, outright refuse to do anything about. This obstinate resistance to change, a change that would improve the enjoyment of their games, is why this series of games will always have a limited degree of enjoyment.
Yes, but it has a flaw. it will turn over more than one card when you click on the deck, Many of the cards needed are buried because of this. However, the game does offer various forms of Solitaire and Mahjong.
A fine for me Solitaire game... With just one issue: the prices are so damn high! Every other game I played from the other collections? None of them come close to such prices. X.X But oh well. I just like these Solitaire games. I want to play them forever... And ever... And ever... :D...............
Same mechanics as others in this series, but with extra stuff like supersize levels, mahjong, and challenges. However, you don't have to complete all the extras to get all the achievements.
This one kept crashing. :( Enjoyed and had no problems with 1 and 3.
