[/h2] I've played a few of the Jewel Match games and they are quite similar in content. This version is the collectors edition which contains four hundred levels in total; some extra achievements; deck backs; wallpapers; more Shop Items; and lots of extra levels in Challenge; Supersize; Match 2; Sliding Levels; Suit and Rank; along with an extra six Solitaire variants and some extra music tracks. They are always fun to play and are always professionally presented with lots of options and relaxing tunes to chill out to. This version is no exception. Personally, I think there are too many levels in their games. I enjoy goal orientated games and this is not a game you are going to complete without putting 40+ hours in. I played the first fifty levels and there was no challenge there. I even completed them without any shop items and I was left feeling that they need to begin with a harder difficulty level. The first fifty levels just don't need to be in there; They only act as a tutorial, yet there is a separate tutorial if you want to learn the mechanics, so I felt they were a waste of time. I would much rather see some games from them that are condensed with harder game play, that only take ten hours to complete. They are very relaxing to play and I cannot see any improvements needed to the presentation, options, or amount of content, apart from adding a few more bells and whistles, like sound effects or special effects when playing the levels. The game is superb value for money there is no doubt about that. I particularly liked the option to play any of the different types of Solitaire from the menu screen. Some of these are locked behind progress walls though, which was a bit disappointing, but it gives you an incentive to play the main game if you needed one. There are five different types of Solitaire which you will encounter during the main game. [h3] Challenge [/h3] This is where you have to satisfy certain criteria during the level. For example, play three clubs in a row and three diamonds in a row. The challenges get harder as you progress making shop items important. [h3] Supersize [/h3] These are massive levels that play the same as the basic gameplay but are four times as big. [h3] Match 2 [/h3] Cards are removed from the playing field by matching two of the same number i.e. a two and a two. [h3] Slider [/h3] The game play moves from left to right along the screen so you need to eliminate cards from the left hand side to progress. [h3] Suit and Rank [/h3] This is where you element cards by suite or number. For example, a six of hearts would open up any heart on the board or any six on the board, so using numbers is a good way of swapping suites. [h2] Item Shop [/h2] Coins earnt from winning levels can be spent on super powers and buffs to make levels easier. A lot of these buffs start off cheap and increase in price as you level them up. Expect things like extra cards; extra undoes; jokers and wildcards; extra gold; remove a random card or a specific card; turn over more cards; and shuffle the board. I am only level 75 at 7 hours in, that is playing regular hands, quests to unlock collectables and challenge levels to mix it up. I still have plenty of gameplay ahead of me. There are lots of levels, a variety of solitaire styles, mini quests and unlocking beautiful locations. I feel in their latest games they have really improved their graphics and animations as well. The developers are also extremely responsive to any issues. They listen and put out fixes if needed. Whose mind-numbingly idiotic idea was it to ruin the Remove Selected Card ability? There have been some good improvements with this version of the game, but any goodwill from this has been obliterated by a decision from someone who does not know what they’re doing. And, yes, the usual problem of borderline/outright impossible levels remains. Holy cow, you people need to get a clue.

If you have played past entries in the Jewel Match Solitaire series, you will know exactly what to expect here, as it is basically more of the same. There are a couple new obstacles you can encounter on the solitaire board, like fog that can be cleared with the fog card, but that is about the extent of it. Mahjong also appears to be gone from the bonus games, but I don't mind since it was my least favorite-- and in its place is a new bonus game where you match cards by suit and rank. If you haven't played Jewel Match Solitaire before, well, there is a map of 200 solitaire levels, and you earn stars for completing levels, up to three each. You unlock bonus games the more stars you get, and when you finish the first 200 levels you can unlock an additional 200 Collector's Edition levels (these are only present in the Collector's Edition versions of these games, but those seem to be the only ones they release on Steam now). That's about it. If you want a relaxing solitaire game, you can do a lot worse than any of the entries in this series. This one is more of the same, and that is exactly what I was looking for.

I've played many, many games in the Jewel Match 'verse and this is one of my favorites! The same lovely art that I'm used to from other JM games, the music is nice [although I personally mute the game and listen to podcasts or other music while playing]. I like the new Suit & Rank solitaire variant they added! I love that you can change how the seasons rotate across the map while you progress, several settings for that. I'm over 20 hours in and still have many to go to get all of the achievements and finish all bonus levels, which I love doing, striving for a "complete" game.

This is a superb addition to the Jewel Match Solitaire franchise. New bonus games, familiar games, quests, building scenes, great artwork and lovely, relaxing music. Very atmospheric and it all can be tailored to your season of the year. Challenging but not intimidating. I highly recommend this game.

Very relaxing and enjoyable. Just wish there had of been some majong games. I recommend it if you like these type of games.

En esta entrega han añadido varios incordios absurdos, el peor de los cuales probablemente sea unos bloqueadores que solo se desbloquean cada, por ejemplo, 6 cartas seguidas quitadas de la mesa. Ojo, no vale con 6 cartas seguidas sacadas del mazo, hay que retirar 6 cartas de la mesa de forma consecutiva, lo que obviamente significa que si quedan menos de esas 6 cartas en la mesa ya no se puede terminar.

This is a relaxing stress relieving game for when you're having a bad day. I definitely recommend this game.
