Jewel Match Atlantis Solitaire 4 - Collector's Edition

I Want to Tell You is not just a book by O.J. Simpson, but also I want to tell you about Jewel Match Atlantis Solitaire 4 - Collector's Edition. That's kind of a long name, so I'll refer to it as Jewel Match Atlantis Solitaire 4 from here on out. Well, that's a bit long as well, so let's just call it JeMaAtSo4 for brevity. Oh, I know, maybe JMAS4. That has a nice ring to it. Cool, now right back to it. A Question Of Doubt is not just a book by John Wayne Gacy, but what you might be thinking when you see a fourth Jewel Match Solitaire. Do you need another? What is new and improved? Why a big suit? The Final Truth is not just a book by Donald Gaskins, but also the information I'm (hopefully) about to present. You see, there are a multitude of reasons, three to be exact, why you should get JMAS4. 0. Grey Alien Games, or GAG for short, is simply the best manufacturer of solitaire games on Steam. Ancient Enemy, Shadowhand, Regency Solitaire, as well as publishing the Jewel match series just goes to show you can't really go wrong with GAG. 1. New game modes. JMAS4 has a few tricks up it's sleeves, with interesting new solitaire types. I'm rather fond of the super wide one that slides over as you complete it. There are a couple more I hadn't seen before, so plenty of variety there. 1. New card types. It wouldn't be a JMAS game without some sneaky blockages on cards, including cards that increase in value every turn, or an octopus that, well it just kind of holds onto the card, but still. That can be disconcerting. 2. So many cards. In addition to the main game, the path is littered with bonus games, more than ever it appears, so choose your favorites and earn some extra coins to enhance your solitaire skills. 3. Fish. You can play sets of bonus games to unlock fish which will swim across the title screen. Heck, there is even a button to hide the UI so you can gaze endlessly at your own personal aquarium. I suppose by now it is clear that this is certainly a game that any self-respecting solitaire aficionado will want to add to their collection. Even though it is similar enough to the previous games to feel very familiar, JMAS4 brings enough new ideas to keep things interesting. It is a beautiful game but not a fare one. Cards and everything else are highly manipulated and altered in the background, behind the scene. In some levels you will only succeed if you spend lots of game coins, and that's not a guarantee of success for sure. A truly ramdom game would not keep you stuck on the same level for 5 replays in a row, despite any strategy. This kind of behavior only leads a player to abandon the game and think twice before buying any new stuf from the same developers. If you're interested and would like to pay for it, wait for a promotional sale. It's not worth the full price.

That's it for me. The buffs are still on "re-charging" mode and will majority of the time [b]not[/b] be available when you need them. The "octopus" and "countdown" cards are back and they are annoying af. Anytime they are on screen, I know that I will need 3x the foundation deck just to get lucky enough to remove a [i]single[/i] one. Money is okay. You can now disable other game pop ups. But the deck flipping is slower... Why? What finally got to me was anything past level 340+. Starting with level 342... It wont end by itself. Neither will the next one. You gotta waste all the cards in order to "Finish Level". No thanks. Tired. I want to be relaxed, not annoyed.

Very Nice effort on this version of JMAS 4 Collectors Edition. Game have improved areas of the series such as faster game play and animations, higher rewards in coins 'Finally'! The bonus games and the 'Map' card Hands all reward more coins which allows you to purchase items when shopping. They keep getting better so I purchase after seeing the game clip video on the in-store game page. Happy Solitaire!

This is not just a solitaire game with hundreds of levels, but it also includes several different bonus games and different solitaire variants with even more hundreds of levels. Out of all the solitaire games on Steam right now this one is definitely up there in terms of value both in terms of the sheer amount of content you get and the smoothness of the gameplay & animations, it is well-made. It has nice looking desktop backgrounds and collectible fish to earn, quests, perks and stuff to buy in a shop for coins that you earn on level completions. I've played a lot of solitaire games and 1 criticism I have is that I really do think the shop could contain some more perks/permanent upgrades to buy, if for no other reason than just to have some fun things to buy. And I think the shop items could be categorized better or marked better as to note which things are a permanent passive upgrades/bonuses and which ones are a consumable item that is removed once used. The developer is attentive to feedback, I suggested a slight change in the coin noise effect on the discussions hub and the developer replied to the suggestion and changed it! I had this game on my wishlist for several months before its release. The gameplay is familiar on most levels but there are new game types included in this release including the Sliding solitaire games and many new variants on classic solitaires. The gameplay is challenging without being impossible and the achievements are both generous and achievable. Mahjong is included and the number of extra games launching over the map is mind boggling. It's incredible value for money in terms of the number of levels, the number of extra games and the challenge of the various games. I'm also impressed with the responsiveness of the game developers to any suggestions and issues arising with the gameplay. Highly recommend this game.

I've bought nearly every Jewel Match Solitaire game [will get the rest eventually!] and this is by far the best one yet. Wonderful art, very smooth animations and gameplay, nice options with card designs/backs. Good UI/game customization options. A good range of achievements--some are gimmes, others will take some serious play time to unlock. You're getting a [i]crazy[/i] amount of game levels in this. Not just the 400 main solitaire levels, but also hundreds of levels in bonus games [mahjong, match-2, supersize, challenge, and sliding levels]. Prepare for tons of solitaire in your future if you buy this!

It looks like cashgrabbing mobile trash, but it's actually a eral game: with rich gameplay. This has evolving mecanics more original than in most match solitaire games, many many levels, many variants of solitaire including klondike, freecell, majong, and others, Some levels have their own mechanics; an imersive atmosphere - even through the sounds are repetitive and the music is not exactly relaxing if you have asmr standards; fitting an experience on a computer: wide screen, dimension, and a few customization optionls But it's worth between five and ten dollars on the video game market of Steam today, so in sale it's worth it. This eval is about the Collector Edition, not the normal edition, that one has less levels. But even compered to the normal version, Regency Solitaire one and two are super boring, look old, have very few levels and are overpriced: their story is not worth $15. No if you want a solitaire game, you want this collection. Also, there is no Steam Cloud. Looks like they decided it wasn't necessary...
