Would be a good game, but devs don't work on it and there are too many bugs. I have been stuck on one section of the campaign for so long because of a bug, even after making new saves. It really sucks that the devs don't work on this game anymore. Don't buy, not worth 20 dollars.
An early beta version that was abandoned before being finished and is filled with bugs to this day. You will be buying the following:

Basic base building mechanics with some generic modules. Some of said modules may bug out and either stop existing or not work properly.
Basic crew management with different roles and orders. Some of said orders may bug out and lock a character in place until he dies from hunger. Some of said roles will eventually kill the character you assigned it to if he didn’t have a good enough starting value in that skill to begin with.
Basic “expedition sending” mechanics. That works until you save/load the game where you have a 50/50 chance of your expedition vessel vanishing as it failed to save.
A campaign that is basically a sandbox with a few scripts. And yes, those can break down and lock you from progressing too.
A clunky UI just to make sure that your experience is horrible.
Just don’t waste your time or money.
This game HAD promise but that was before the dev abandoned it. You will run into problems just accomplishing tutorial levels. I had to craft 10 more of a resource so I queued "Amount" 10 for production. Nothing happened. It seems "Amount" is functioning as "Minimum" even though that's a separate field. Told my meeples to mine an ice asteroid; they couldn't figure out how to get to it once they got outside the airlock due to it being on the opposite side of the station. I built a second airlock on the same side of the station as the asteroid. They still picked the one on the other side and kept getting lost. If you are feeling the itch for a game like this, buy it on sale and evaluate it before the return window closes.
sad to see this game abandoned, when i bought it in 2023 i thought it might get some updates but it's been years and nothing
Game is pretty relaxing but is abandoned by devs so not really worth it
Yeah, it's just as broken and abandoned as everyone else is saying. The concept should be really good, but a single mid-level bug WILL break an entire playthrough. Just play Rimmers with the space DLC.
This game can absolutely be fun but between all the bugs and saving issues I have to restart constantly so I can't get any real progress going. Campaign is really difficult even on the easiest setting (possibly due to the bugs I've encountered). Majorly needs a good patch for these issues. At this current time I'd say it isn't worth the money but has good potential if fixed.
Overall many major playability issues for a simulation game. This game is best "played" in free build mode as the functional aspect of having a space station is hardly functional. It has a great UI but the simulation breaks on an hourly basis. The game's official wiki says it uses Gamepedia which was bought by Fandom so is now an ad riddled nightmare that constantly reloads content slowing down your entire machine and draining battery with even a single page open. The wiki is also horribly outdated and lacking information with most objects only showing the in-game description which gives no details about function. The game has major, glaring bugs the devs brush off. "we've addressed a few oddities"... oddities such as being unable to build power, water, and oxygen connections to the top and bottom layers and the campaign getting stuck if you play for more than 1 hour at a time, which they have still not yet fixed. Many objects will stop functioning after the game runs for a couple hours until the game is restarted bringing everything to a grinding halt. Wastebins stop working preventing janitors from cleaning so letting your station become a mess and everyone goes insane and ejects themselves from an airlock. Meeples will entirely stop doing their jobs and sometimes reassigning their job will fix it for a couple tasks. There's a negative status message that tells about negative interactions or poor mood but clicking only dismisses and the game won't show you who is involved leaving you guessing. Everytime you load a savegame you'll get every single hint about how each thing works. The game doesn't remember which ones it's shown you and just shows them all. Meeples will prefer to use the private table and chair of a captain's quarters even walking right past the dining room on the way from the food dispenser. I suspect this is due to blind prioritization of higher quality dining area and ignoring it being private quarters. This interrupts the captain who's poor mood causes him to randomly build or deconstruct parts of your station. Swapping station tiles in-place wastes resources. You can build a new floor tile over an existing tile but you do not get the resources back that you would if you deconstruct the old tile first then rebuild the new one. You can't disable mouse edge scrolling. Several menus can't have their keys rebound such as the utility pipe building screen. Most of the menus key rebinds aren't saved and will reset to default every relaunch. When deconstructing a wastebin or washroom it will take its capacity worth of waste with it out of the waste system. Many of the text descriptions don't seem to have been proofread whatsoever and contain grammatical errors. I'm sure I'll come across more bugs. Explored less than half of the game's systems/objects so far.
Abandoned with plenty of game breaking bugs
