About
Welcome to Nuclear Reactor Simulator, where you step into the shoes of a nuclear power plant operator tasked with managing one of the most complex and dangerous systems on Earth. With the help of your AI-powered Operational Assistant (AO), you’ll navigate the intricacies of reactor mechanics, balance energy production, and prevent catastrophic failures.

This isn’t just a game—it’s a deep, immersive simulation that challenges your strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to stay calm under pressure. Whether you’re a seasoned simulation enthusiast or a curious newcomer, Nuclear Reactor Simulator offers a thrilling and educational experience like no other.
Control Every Aspect: Manage over 200 parameters and 150 switches across multiple reactor modules, including the Control Room, Containment Building, Turbine Building, and Cooling Towers.
Dynamic Systems: Monitor and adjust reactor power, coolant flow, steam generation, and more to maintain optimal performance.
Emergency Scenarios: Respond to unexpected events like equipment failures, floods, and fires with quick decision-making and precise actions.

Operational Assistant (AO): Your AI companion helps with ignition protocols, alarm systems, and crisis management. Upgrade its skills to unlock advanced functionalities.
Remote Control: Use your tablet to manage reactor tasks, control AO, and oversee operations from anywhere in the plant.
Daily Objectives: Meet energy production goals to earn Prestige and Experience Points. Level up to unlock more challenging scenarios.
Resource Management: Balance fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and community demands to keep your plant running efficiently.
Prestige System: Spend Prestige Points on upgrades, fuel blocks, protective gear, and even radioactive waste cleanup.

Enhanced Core Design: Operate a state-of-the-art reactor with nine fuel blocks, 72 control rods, and advanced safety systems.
Chemical Module: Dive into the chemistry of reactor operation with boric acid dosing, ion exchange filtration, and pH management.
Thermal and Steam Balance: Master the delicate equilibrium between steam generation, coolant flow, and energy output to avoid system failures.
Realistic Soundtrack: Feel the tension and excitement of managing a nuclear power plant with an atmospheric soundtrack.
Detailed Environments: Explore every corner of your plant, from the Control Room to the underground maintenance tunnels.

Nuclear Reactor Simulator stands out with its unparalleled depth and realism. Unlike other simulation games, it doesn’t hold your hand with step-by-step tutorials. Instead, it empowers you to learn through experimentation, research, and community collaboration.
No Hand-Holding: Consult the in-game manual, research real-world reactor operations, or join the community to master the game’s mechanics.
Constantly Evolving: Regular updates introduce new features, improve realism, and refine gameplay based on player feedback.
Educational Value: Learn the science behind nuclear energy while having fun.
Thrilling Challenges: Every decision matters. Will you prioritize power output or safety? Can you handle the pressure of an emergency?
Endless Replayability: With dynamic systems, evolving challenges, and a community-driven learning curve, no two playthroughs are the same.
A True Simulator: This isn’t just a game—it’s a realistic, hands-on experience that will test your skills and keep you coming back for more.

Become part of a growing community of players who share tips, strategies, and stories of their reactor operations. Whether you’re looking for advice or want to show off your achievements, there’s a place for you in the Nuclear Reactor Simulator community.

The sim is unfortunately extremely poor. It genuinely seems as if the dev is just reading Wikipedia articles and trying to base the reactor physics on that. Other features in the game are half baked at best. If you need to do maintenance, you have to use AO. AO's pathing is some of the worst I've seen bin any commercial release over the last decade. End result being that you will have parts that you call for maint on and it just won't happen. It doesn't help that the plant design is maddeningly unrealistic and doesn't lend itself to any degree of a workable simulator. (Also, don't go to the exterior freight pumps, that section of the map will drop your framereate by 30 for no good reason.) I hate that I have unironically seen better nuclear reactor simulations on roblox then this game appears capable of doing.
I want to love this game, i really do. but also i want to be able to save the game and go to sleep and not have to start from scratch the next day. would also love the start up guide to actually update when i am not looking at it. or for me to be able to check off things manually when i have done them if the game doesn't automatically update the check list. maybe actually have some guides on chem management, not just the how to turn the reactor on. though ultimatly, fix it so that i can actually save the game, and this will be a positive review. everything else is minor QOL improvments, but not being able to save the game and re-loade it without the game going "oh we have nothing here" while also telling me that everything is there.... kinda a deal breaker
10/10! 1: Enter the game 2: Do tutorial 3: Exit and make new game 4: Meltdown disaster 5: Restart and fool around 6: Remote control AO and electrocute myself 7: die but remain as the AO 8: Game pauses and im forced to quit/restart 9: Game breaks and cant play 10: Write review 11: reinstall the game
TL;DR: Recommend, BUT, really should come with an early access flag. Still buggy, but the developer is still very much actively working on it. Absolutely addicted. Really enjoyable once you begin to understand how everything works, is linked, and reacts to other systems. Lots of tutorials out there that do a great job of explaining the concepts. You WILL have to invest a large amount of time to learn (probably 12 hours minimum in YouTube tutorial videos; If you are looking for a good concepts/tutorials videos check out Leonidas Ares), but it's worth it. With my PC I'm running very high settings and have no problems with stability. I have had more than a few game breaking bugs, mostly around reactor fuel replacement and control rod replacement. Some people have issues with outside of the plant, some people have trouble saving and/or loading saves. A few very lucky people seem to have no problems whatsoever. That being said, the developer is super active and updates are coming out all the time. Honestly I like this dev enough that I bought the generator set DLC just to throw a few extra bucks their way. I'll never use it, but if it helps them develop, I'm in. They seem to be very active in the community and, as previously mentioned, are always putting out new patches.
Warning 4 of achievements are unobtainable as the scenario for those achievement have been removed from the game.
тяжело... ТЯЖЕЛОООООО........ жалко что мой IQ ровняется меньше чем у Ивана золо чтобы понять как работает АЭС
Great! A labour of love by the developer. If you dreamed of running a nuclear power plant, this is it, it's technically deep enough to tick the right boxes but without being overly fussy that you require months and years of study. The Automated Operator that can help you run the plant is fantastic as you can get as much or as little help as you like. Just exploring the plant is fun too, you can go everwhere and interact with everything. Well done.
this game has so much potential but i have tried doing the tutorial over and over but its so bad and i barely learned anything if the tutorial was better this game would be soo much better
