second Dinofarm Games for me. only tried few minutes: can totally vouch for this one. cause i've played enjoyed and still want to play, Auro, their 2016 Monster Bumping Adventure game: https://store.steampowered.com/app/459680/ a very rare (IMO pretty unique) ability on crafting games. what Auro was missing seems to me meticulously implemented here (splendid UI!). these are "heavy", well thought, cleverly done pixels: fruits, Mario vibes, Tetris feels, combos... a pure game experience in a few megabytes. this is [strike]kinda[/strike] 100% magic!
The game is obviously inspired by Dr Mario, that's a good thing. The additional mechanics (rising juice at the bottom, various side effects to destroying fruits, three characters with different active and passive skills) make it harder to manage compared to the original Dr. Mario. The Early Access version is a bit limited at the time. So far there is only single-player. The difficulty setting only determines how much fruits there are to clear, there is just a single constant speed currently. The game looks nice and the music sounds good. All in all, it is enjoyable in tis current state, with potential to be really good.
Loving it! Jelly Bomber will probably remind you of Dr Mario. Overall a very fun game. Addictive even. Highly recommended if you're into Tetris, the aforementioned Dr Mario, Columns and the likes. The music is great, too, which just adds to the fun. Having several themes to choose from would've been a nice option, though. If I recommend this? HELL YEAH!
Jesus, those hours added up. My little cousins really like the game. Fun little puzzler. And now it sits near the top of my steam play charts. Yay. Excited to be teased about that for a few years.
it runs on steam deck well its fun dev team c an u try to make a dr mario true clone next i thinkthis game is peek
A decent entry in its genre, and a definite improvement over Dr. Mario. I do really wish I could use the d-pad on my controller instead of being forced to use the analogue stick
The game has very nice retro-inspired graphics and creative innovations alongside the Dr Mario basics. It's definitely worth finishing!
It's a cute game with clean graphics and fine music, but it's not very deep. It's still early access, though, so it has time to improve. The most annoying this is the apricots drop unbreakable garbage blocks; a way to destroy these would really help my enjoyment of the game. There's also no controller support. As it it's not bad for three bucks, I just don't see myself playing it for very long. Seven out of ten stolen cheese wheels.
