Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Iron Harvest has a completely broken campaign. You cannot finish it. At a certain point in the mission, when the game tries to trigger a cutscene, it crashes. This happens consistently and makes progression impossible. I replayed the mission multiple times and it always crashes at the same moment. This is not an isolated issue. There are multiple reports from other players across forums and the official Discord saying the exact same thing, sometimes even in different missions. There is no reason to invest time in a game where the main campaign cannot be completed. If the core experience is broken and has not been fixed, then the game is simply not worth playing. That said, I did enjoy what I played. The game feels different from the usual RTS I play and it has its own identity. If this issue gets fixed, I might pick it up again in the future and update this review for positive one. 14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

As someone who plays RTS games primarily for the single-player campaign, I can't recommend this. The WW1 + dieselpunk premise is better than the game itself, which is tedious. Another reviewer said the missions remind them of the worst aspects of the original Command & Conquer games and that's a useful comparison. In Iron Harvest, you'll also deal with terrible unit pathfinding and commanding a small group of units with constrained resources, all while wishing you could instead build a fat base and smash your mechs against the enemy's. And that's the rub: the game doesn't feel good as either squad tactics or combined arms. I can't point to one catastrophic flaw, just an accumulation of annoyances: occupying buildings and using cover feels off; healing units is confusing; unit AI is stupid; your hero unit's companion runs off and engages random enemies so you have to frequently recall it; units move slowly relative to the map scale; and objectives are designed to be as annoying as possible. Even on sale, I'd avoid if you're primarily interested in the campaign.
Avoid. Its not fun at all. Actually its UNFUN and just straight up frustrating. Its basically TEMU version of Company of Heroes but without anything that made the classic so good. There is so much wrong with it I could be here all day. So for brevity sake i will just try to keep it simple and point the biggest offenders: Game has very high lethality, zero balance and atrocious pathfinding. Mind you, when I say lethality, Im not saying its hard. Its just unbelievably clunky. Every combat is either couple of seconds of absolute carnage if you try to micro - ending to quickly, or if you decide to spam a lot of units its a total uncontrollable blobfest where everyone gets stuck everywhere. You spend more time repairing/reinforcing/buying units than actually fighting and positioning (if unit actually fallows orders). They tried so hard to imitate the dynamic combat of Company of Heroes but totally ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and failed to understand how it actually works. Also, weirdly, all the effects are kinda anemic. So you feel like your mechs are made of paper and shoot pellet guns. That's a subjective opinion tho. In the end i went from playing on hard, to medium, to then go for easy just to finish the story to just giving up completly after a badly designed mission. If you really into the setting, watch the couple of cinematics on youtube or something. Don’t waste your time. Edit: Its also completely unstable and crashes often, especially at the end of missions. Devs jumped ship to push the development of the next game. Be very careful with Dawn of War. Don’t let the hype and nostalgia blind you and wait for reviews. Those guys seem to take cool settings or old franchise and make game around it but without understanding how the original actually worked and what made it so good.
As much as I do like this game and I have enjoyed what I have managed to actually play, the game is fundamentally broken. The campaign will softlock the game and make you lose your progress when cutscenes are meant to play. There is no way to even get past this which makes progression impossible. These issues have existed for years and they've not bothered to fix it. I am too far beyond the refund window at this point and I've only done 4 missions. I wish I read the reviews first.
The setting, the mechs, the sound design are all awesome. Unfortunately, feels janky, controls are a little frustrating, doesn't feel good to play.
the game actually started with a great concept and the artwork is quite impressive. yet, it can’t escape feeling like company of heroes with a little makeup. same gameplay, same units, same buildings, same missions. producing a steampunk machine instead of a sherman tank doesn’t feel different at all. fighting rusviet vanguards feels just like fighting german sturmtruppen; there’s no difference other than the uniforms. even cutscenes are not better than the first company of heroes game. I don't want to see characters speaking with their mouths shut in a 2020 game. in early 2000's, most games had cutscenes with full talking animations, with body language and lip synch and all. 20 years later they cannot open their mouths. but the worst part is anna. she’s the main character during the campaign, but she’s one of the most annoying game characters I’ve ever seen. honestly, I’d even take catalina from gta san andreas over her. her voice is bad, her tone is bad, her delivery is bad, and she acts like she lacks any common sense. she keeps screaming in this high-pitched, screeching voice during gameplay, I seriously can't stand it.
I had high hopes for this game, but it feels unbalanced along with the last update for the game was Sept. 2022 it feels abandoned and unfinished...
This game is honestly so bad it makes me angry. The main attraction of the game is the mechs, but the game constantly deprives you of the opportunity to play with mechs. The story campaign is FILLED with mission after mission after mission of NO MECHS! Why am I constantly being deprived of mechs? And then you start a world map campaign AND THERE ARE STILL NO MECHS! Why?! It makes me so mad. I've put like 20 hours into this game trying to find the parts where I actually get to play with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mech. Why do you do this, developers? Why? I don't understand. Is it a German thing? Is there a law in Deutschland against allowing players to have too much fun? 'Nein, you shall not play with the cool-looking war machines you thought you bought the game for. You will instead play with this girl and her pet bear'. I honestly think that less than 20% of my playtime has been spent with a decent army of mechs. It was really fun when I got the chance to though. That's why it makes me so angry. They're capable of making a fun game, but then they just go and ruin it by not allowing me to play with mechs in this mech game.
I played this after the DoW4 announcement. Wanted to check what it's about and maybe set my expectations for DoW4. Overall the DNA of Company of Heroes and Dawn of War is very apparent here, the team is obviously full of fans, the dedication and attention to detail is great. I love the attention to the campaign overall, it's well written and progresses very well. This is obviously a product of passion. The game is not perfect, could be overwhelming early on, some pathing issues where squads split, maybe some mechs are too clunky.. but overall none of this takes away from the experience. Very good game, and sets my expectations very highly for DoW4.
Super cool setting and enjoy gameplay and actually has a good story with interesting ideas. Seen alot of people complaining about the 1st mission it takes like 10mins to finish and its a tutorial mission it really isnt that bad. If you dont even finish the first mission and slap a negative review on the game, you're just being a whiny child. the game has 3 campaigns (without dlc) all of them have highs and lows.
