Alright so I gave it a more comprehensive chance. I really enjoyed the first game. The probes are super cheap in the store so I grabbed a couple so I don't run out mid run and you do get 50 of them at a time. I did some more exploring after retrieving my backpack. I think I just didn't notice the shadow man following me from a distance. Performance: Regarding my performance issues, I'm not sure what my issue was caused by previously but stutters were very ocassional this time around and usually after a load screen. Atmosphere: I got some significant chills while exploring some little houses at night. I ended up staying there until morning after I cleared it. My god is night time creepy, especially when you're near the whispering human statues. I set up a little camp using a handheld flashlight, my attachable flashlight and the light from my backpack. I do wish the flashlights would stay turned on after letting go of them but I'll probably have a headlamp soon and that'll solve that need. Voice Acting: I'm still not a huge fan of the voice acting but I think it's more my opinion than anything. They just don't feel authentic to me. Gunplay/Gameplay: Gun assembly is actually quite cool. Having to disassemble your weapons and clean/upgrade the parts is a solid addition to the game. I absolutely love coming back home after exploring and sorting through my loot, condensing ammo and checking out guns and things I've found while looking through everything. I do miss cleaning out the barrel though but that part was also little tedious at the same time.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Got to the tutorial, was very hard to load a magazine into the gun, almost impossible in fact, I couldn't physically get my hands close enough together to let the magazine slide in, There's a setting in the options menu called mag assist which made it easier though. The hour+ long unskippable tutorial only made me immediately want to play the original. I want to jump into the game and play it, not go through a seminar, and take a class on how basic movement works. I really enjoyed the mystery of the first game, For a game that is a sequel, there should be a reasonable assumption that a player has played the original and maybe knows how to hold a gun, open a door, walk forward, couch, jump, and raise their hands by now. An option to skip the tutorial would be nice, but it's grayed out when you first start the game. all in all the first impression really sucked for me in what is probably a relatively great game if you have the patience to get through it.
I'm going to give the same review for the first game when I had played on the Quest 2 standalone version when it comes to this game, amazing atmosphere and tension spread throughout. Every fight could be your last if you aren't paying attention or did your due diligence to scout the area first before pushing in. Having the added benefit of a friend watching your back is huge. Being able to flank and draw fire has become an important strategy in the later areas of the game. Scouring the Radius has never been more fun. However I have to ding the devs for using AI voices. Takes me out of the moment whenever the Guide decides to talk to us and drop some story elements, it ends up being a little cringe. The same goes for when the lady in the computer talks to us whenever we get one of the main story missions assigned. I'd rather just read an email from the Foundation instead of the bad text to speech. One final thing, there is a piece of equipment you get later on and it doesn't spawn an instruction pamphlet which led to us being very confused as to what we had to do when we had been able to get this far without any hang ups on what we were supposed to be doing. We needed to look up what we were supposed to do with it and we would have never figured it out if we hadn't. But besides those two points the game is a lot of fun especially if you allow yourself to be immersed and take in the world around you! Now, grab that rifle and make sure you have enough meds to get you home in one piece... Be home before the Tide comes in, trust me you don't want to be outside the safe zone when it hits.
Co-op stalker in VR. bring friends. 8.5/10
From the first game, It had so much potental, And thoughout the second game, I finally see it getting put to action, From the combat system to the quality of life improvements, I truely see that this game has been worth the wait, The game shows true story progression, More variety of enimies, And the amount of Anomalys that us the player comes across, Truely awes me. With some of the easter eggs and referneces to the first game, Truely makes this game S teir. This game is absolute peak, A hidden gem even, If your looking for a good story progession game, Yet at your own pace game, I truely reccomend this
The most fun we've had in a VR co-op game so far. Gun play is excellent. Nightvision and lasers are cool too. Solo game is ok.
I really love this game. This and the first one. The only thing that would make it better would be proper mod support. With user created maps and missions, like Skyrim or Fallout, I'd never stop playing the game.
The Zone look amazing on medium graphics, and love the look of the entities.
- recommended by friend - go in blind - proceed to ♥♥♥♥ bricks while hiding or fighting against unspeakable horrors beyond my comprehension - Leave the radius with PTSD - "You down for more Radius?" and repeat
Almost evety system was expanded, compared to ITR1, enemies and anomalities feel new and refreshing and the customizability and gunplay is a cherry on top
