If Chess and Pacific Rim had a baby, that'd be Into the Breach. Also the Soundtrack is fantastic and sets the vibe perfectly.
Like FTL, it's a really great game. It's not quite as good as FTL, but it's very strong and fun.
I am addicted to this. Perfect balance, endless fun, great replayability, billions of combinations, hard strategy (well...sometimes), cool mechas, and overall this is my favorite rouglike. And I am a person who hates rouglikes 99% of time. This game is hundred times easier than FTL for me, and I can get creative here too, so idk just buy it and have fun too. Perfect game for SteamDeck.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

One of the best Advance Wars style games. Easy to play and get lost in for an hour or so each time. Haven't even scratched the surface with the other teams and builds. Would recommend for those who enjoy a focus on tactics with a side of roguelite, rather than pure roguelite games.
Fan of FTL, love this games music, and graphics, but not a fan of the rng and other squads.
I re-bought this game on steam just so that it can always travel with my PC library as I played the game for countless hours on the Switch throughout the years. Into the Breach is such a simple yet complex game. Simple in that the gameplay is very staright forward and consistent, complex in the amount of builds you can get from the wide array of mechs and pilot that you can mix and match. Options are numerous but none felt overdeisnged, even though certain squads are obviously more effective than others. Part of the fun is to make a low tier squad decimating battlefield just like a high tier one. This game can be cakewalk easy and or mind twistingly diffcult based on your own liking. Like many others have said, this game is chess but very different in the best way. The music is also fantastic, perfect mix of Sci-Fi with LoFi with a lemotif to boot. Here's to hope Subset Games can make their 3rd game soon! FTL and Into The Breach are both tactical classics.
excelente tatical game
This game was so addictive I had to uninstall. Best minimalist tactics game I have ever played. Beware.
Great tactical puzzle game
