Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Charming, minimalist fishing game centered around statistics and procedurally generated content. This game manages to construct a very satisfying gameplay loop around relatively understated mechanics. Namely, filling up the research bar for each species you discover and target, and matching with each of the factors to master catching that fish, is simple yet addicting. The lure design system is pretty damn cool; I appreciate how it's built around various emergent statistics. I also like the choice of music, even though it's royalty-free from Kevin MacLeod - it combines with the simple graphics to make for a relaxing atmosphere. And the brief main storyline is cute with humorous interludes. The only complaints I'd make about this game are: 1. Polish and quality of life - there's a few options in the UI and inventory management that I'd rather like to have, such as swapping with/replacing existing pieces in the lure editor by clicking on an occupied space with another piece, and switching between stuff at the home dock and at the current store when purchasing new equipment, but it's understandable that these take a few more steps/clicks to do. 2. Targeting a fish you have no information about can be tedious - making contracts a bit choresome. It's especially painful catching and dissecting a small specimen to find very little info to go off of, or to get info (like lure characteristics) that at least *feel* less desirable than stuff like target area and feeding cycles. But the latter point speaks to something true of fishing in real life; it's about trying different things, in different places, and learning what works, more than it is about instant and unconditional gratification. And I think it's great that even though this could hardly be described as a "realistic" fishing simulator, it captures much of the essence of fishing, anyway. 8.5/10 would recommend!

The human portrait art is hideous, and getting all the achievements was quite tedious—but even so, this might be the best fishing game I've played.
Amazing, put an hour or two into it and do the first few steps of the main quest to get some gear and you''ll see
I adore this game. It's very slow, very chill, and to me there's something about it that's mesmerizingly beautiful. It is very abstract, but somehow captures certain aspects of fishing that many detailed simulators miss. I stepped away earlier this year after playing it more than 50 hours, and still I keep wanting to come back to it.
Lure system is essential and unfortunetly broken (or the in game tutorial gives the wrong information).
Not for me. Not enough feedback to help understand why you aren't catching anything. I know it will work for some. Boring and frustrating for me.
Criminally underrated, absolutely amazing game. Spans multiple genres and nails them all.
this game made me bald
Really enjoyable and relaxing experience, deep enough to have you think but not overly difficult, just right for an evening gaming session. The procedural generation keeps me coming for more and have fun chasing achievements. The story and side quests have a good and fun writing. THE feature I'm missing is to spite NPC anglers that don't want to give me any advice >:( ... just let me teleport them few galaxies away. Overall: I definitely recommend Intergalactic Fishing, a game with engaging mechanics that doesn't revolve around combat is a nice change of pace.
