Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet

This shadow planet sure is twisted, possibly even to an insane degree

I remember playing this game a long while ago, and forgot about it, until I suddenly had a realization that I played some sort of UFO Metroidvania in the past. While my feelings are not as positive as they once were, this is still a solid short metroidvania~esque game where you play as an UFO that has to destroy a plague that has infested a planet.

I love games like this, reminiscent of ori, I can't put it down :) Clever puzzles and challenging enough gameplay, yet so simple. I really hope they make a sequel someday

2011 yılında çıkmış metroidvania öncülerinden çıktığı devir için az bulunan bir tür iken şuan her yer metroidvania kaynıyor yine de ITSP sıkıcı bir oyun değil, Hollow Knight, Rogue Legacy ve Guacamelee oynamışlığım var onların kalitesinde ve derinliğinde değil ama kendi temasında tatlı ve yeteri kadar dolu bir oyun, oyunda bir uzaylı olarak gezegenimizi saran ve her şeyi yok eden bir karanlık enerjinin kaynağını ufomuza atlayıp aramaya koyuluyoruz. Oyun gelişim süreci hızlı ilerliyor ve bu iyi bir şey zaten oyun süreside günümüz oyunlarına kıyasla çok kısa ama gerçekten 10 saatte biten tecrübeleri de özlemişim. Mükemmel bir deneyim sunmaz ama eğlendirir. 6.5/10

A simplistic, physics-based twin-stick Metroivdania, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet holds up remarkably well for a 14-year-old indie-ish title. Many of the cutscenes failed to run on my Steam Deck (instead displaying a placeholder image) but they total about three minutes of footage and are far from necessary to understand or complete the game. The controls are tight, gameplay is varied, and boss battles are inventive but not all that challenging.

- Во-первых, это хорошая метройдвания. - Во-вторых, Steam врёт игра отлично работает на Steam Deck: разрешение само устанавливается, настройки геймпада сами подсасываются. - Нет русского, но тут язык нужен только для описания абилок, а сам сюжет подаётся роликами совсем без теста и озвучки.

A fun little game, maybe not worth the price tag but a fun and unique take on a metroidvania with a cool artstyle
