All jokes aside the game does have potential, but it cannot be reliably recommended in its current state; to say it is a shambles would be somewhat of an understatement. I understand its early access, I for one love early access projects. This however, needs a larger work force to even just get the basics done correctly, simple things like a sleek UI or menu options which do not overlap. If the concepts were there and fleshed out this will serve as a very good single-player/coop game, but it has a very, very long road ahead. Buy it if you want to see what it is like and has to offer - dont expect anything and you might be pleasantly suprised. In the 39 minutes I played I killed a jaguar/somebigcat, found and enemy base and shot him in the head with my glock-19 to take his base for myself.. mildly impressed with both the shot and games gunplay I began to make my way towards the hut which was now mine - only to see the inmate get up off the floor and run towards me empty handed knowing full well my glock was loaded and more to the point, he had just sustained a bullet to the head; needless to say he didnt get up after the second bullet to the head, or the third used for good measure. Wait for it to be on offer. I wont request a refund for I bought it on offer for £3.99.
needs a lot of work to even call this thing a game
I really want to like this game, I love all kinds of survival games, and play them all. This has potential, but I really hope the DEVS make some serious changes. Before I get into the bad some good, resources are abundant and super easy to find makes grinding to craft weapons, tools, and buildings do able. Guns are easy to come across by looting NPCs, and loot boxes that drop daily in the game. Now we are going to get where I had some issues, first the ground just disappears when walking around, I have fallen and clipped through the map more times than I can count. Building a base just simply does not work, the game says one foundation and you can build off of that, no no no no, I tried numerous different foundations and can not build any walls, floors, ceilings, or anything that would make an acceptable base. The spear movements in the hand what the hell is that? You go to stab someone or something and you arm the spear does a 180 in your hand and you have to spin your your body to stab someone. DEVs you guys need to do some work, after you fix these issues I will change my review.
Picked this up during summer sale. I still wouldn't recommend this even at the low sale price. It's got a fine basis to it, but it's just missing so much to feel like even a decent low-end survival game. Things it'll never get as it's been abandoned. Move along, plenty of other games to consider buying.
Game is unplayable. Unable to build/craft floors, walls, doors. Also you cannot use the workbench, the furnace, the animal trap. Too many bugs in order to enjoy this game.
finally a survival game without zombies. Good collecting/crafting game. Nice way to chill build.
Have to change the recommendation to NO. Its enjoyable game but way too many bugs. Once I get killed by hog nothing works... no re-spawn, cant access menu, only alt+tab and close the game.. Also game save does not work so be ready to loose the progress every time you restart the game. There is a lot of polishing to be done on this game.
Abandonware. Refund if you can
Ok I get that this is made by one person and I tip my hat off to them. I feel the game play is ok and graphics are pretty good too but, the issue I have is that nothing is saving and I am tired of starting my game and progress over and over all the time. I try to read post and reviews from others and still purchase so that I may form my own ideas about that game. There are few lag areas and parts of the game but I am sure that it will get better with time. I DONOT recommend purchasing unless you like to go play the same progress over and over. I do not plan to request a refund just because I hope to see the person who created this game do better and I know that takes cash.
