Deadly Flare

Had this game for a little over a year now. It's a fun concept... but that's it. The dev has abandoned the game. The game isn't good in its current state. Too many bugs, glitches and not much to do once you get going. Not to mention you have a 50% chance of driving and falling through the map. Get this game free... DON"T BUY IT.

Genuinely do not Buy this game. There are so many glitches, i truly don't want to be here writing them all out for several hours. Even then, this game is evidently abandoned. Most of the Mods on their discord have been Ghosted, Communication was cut from the beginning by this "solo developer" and marketing through YouTube was extremely aggressive. I genuinely feel scammed, as Saving is also one of the Key Bugs for this game, aside from being completely immune to zombies inside your own base. They can't destroy structures. All in all, I was scammed, and so were many many others. The developer went Ghost silent, and his "staff" often claim he's got "Life problems" as a "solo developer" who needs to fund his own life, rather than work on the game. Even the Discord is Abandoned, as the last message was in November by a mod, who gave this information. I'd attempt to refund what little money i paid for (about $15? for whatever this was) but it's already long past that i guess. So, don't be me, don't buy this game.

I'd really like to enjoy this game but it's just so bad and unoriginal. It's exactly like all these other indie survival games. It's really janky, clipping, texture issues and the poorest performance I've ever seen. To be exact 25 - 30 fps on an RX 5700 XT in a some what crowded area of zombies on normal settings. I don't recommend this game at all, it shouldn't even have the price tag it has. If it was free I'd consider playing it but at the same price you can buy something way better. Only thing this game has going for it is the art style.

For me, this is a 'no'. I bought this at the same time as 'HORDE'. It looks like the same developers. Personally, it just didn't give any joy. It's better developed than the other game, that's for sure. It starts with exactly the same quest, repair the car! It's just got a bit more flesh on its bones than the other game. It's early access, you may well think different. Remember, most of us are still waiting for '7 days to die' to go gold, well before we all die of old age. God bless The Fun Pimps. That's an early access worth playing. Don't buy HORDE though, LOL :)
