If you search for an full-of-feature, near final version, I would highly recommend to wait until the game was in an further development stage. There could be bugs, crashes (I have never one single crash!), lack of content and items and things like that ! I try to improve, but it will take time to be good :D ![/h1] [b]What is BugOut?[/b] BugOut is an atmospheric, modern day 3rd person hardcore survival rpg game, takes place somewhere in the USA. Only with your backpack, canteen and some other items, you went out to prepare for many disasters until the "end of all days" will happen. Question is: Will you survive ? BugOut includes some great elements from other genres, like the permadeath system. If you die you have to start again. [b]How important is to learn the survival techniques ?[/b] This is ONE of the KEY FEATURES of the game! If you learned all survival techniques it's possible to survive every singe disaster - including the Apocalypse. But don't get me wrong: It's an HARDCORE SURVIVAL GAME, that means: It's easy to learn, but hard to master :) ! [b]How it feels to play BugOut? Is it the same like any other survival game?[/b] Absolutely NOT ! Most survival games today feels always the same. It's like you play one game over and over again - the only different thing is the graphic itself. BugOut tries something new. You will notice the compelte different UI. It's awesome to see that these guys working hard to give you all the freedom on your character as in the real world. You can't carry tons of woods or things like that. You have to manage your backpack wisely. Currently they working on some awesome things that make the game more realistic as any other game out there ! The graphic and atmosphere is more as AWESOME ! Many times I look around in the game and watch the sky and I am so impressed. When the sun goes down, you will love it ! You see the beauty of the enviroment, but also notice you have to survive. This opposites make this game so unbelievably unique. Sure, it's not an triple-A-million-dollar-gfx, but honestly, it doesn't need such graphics. You will feel the love that the developers put into it - and that's why I love this graphic and atmosphere ! It's so much fun to cut down trees, gather things to craft items, visit the vendor to buy stuff and things like that. You can go everywhere you want to go, have all the freedom you need to explore the world of BugOut. [b]What do you think about the developers? Will this game get's abandoned quickly after release? How much care takes the developers about their own game?[/b] The developers are 2 really nice guys and to be honest, I have never seen such an developer like these two guys ! The last couple of weeks I've seen two guys, working hard on a game, got really scared about to show the game to the public and do anything to make your first playtime as an unique experience. So, as we reported bugs, you can't believe how fast the developers react to your report. They take any bug you notice very seriously and try to fix it as fast as they can. I have never seen such great work, updates day after day beside their life and day jobs ! Suggestions will get noticed and discussed by themself. I've seen many developers, yeah, they've their own suggestion threads, but seriously ? They don't care. A2G did the opposite! They take REALLY REALLY care about your opinion and will discuss things, think to implement many things you offer. It's amazing ! If you're going forward to buy this game, you will get one of the best supported piece of software !!! [b]Okay, would there be many things to do in the first EA release ?[/b] It's depends on what you expect! It's an early alpha and many many things wouldn't be included on the first release ! But yeah, it's awesome to explore, try the crafting system, visit the vendor, cut down trees, check out the different UI and things like that. Personally, I love what I've got with BugOut and I can't wait to see what's upcoming next ! [b]So, is it worth to buy ?[/b] Personally, absolutely YES ! I would buy it again, anytime ! This game promising so much and the developers proves everyday that they know what they're doing and can make it! And yes, I believe in this team, I believe in this game and I am sure it would be one of the best hardcore survival rpg games out there ! So, if you are into Early Access, love survival games, want to support the idea and the developer and don't care about bugs, lack of content/features and things like that, I will highly recommend this game ! If you search for an near finished, highly optimized and tons of content game, I will advise you to add it to your wish list !

I only played this for about 1/2 hour. I did not know why I was playing. It was very lifeless and more of a walking simulator than anything. I can just go outside for that. Maybe if there was some content or reason to walk in a forest with no animals of people or zombies. I was very happy about Steams refund policy. Thank You Steam, as this has allowed me to find a good game, green hell.

The game runs really smooth no lag at all, I didnt play for long so i shall re write another review later on as the game progresses, Quite an interesting survival game i love the crafting menu. This is early access and of course still work to do on it but over all good concept. No news on any update or when it will be which does not look good, the dev as been asked to post weekly just to keep the players in the know of whats happening but the players are still waiting for this to happen. Because of this i would not buy the game just yet as there really is nothing to do in game, not for the price anyway. To the Dev - I understand about you moving house etc but not everyone is interested in that, You are running a business and your personal life cannot be used as an excuse to your lack of communication and commitment.

Привет! С данной игрой я познакомился чуть ли не в день её выхода в ранний доступ и вот что я могу о ней сказать. Пока что кроме как интересной идеи в неё абсолютно ничего нет, обсуждать игровые возможности на данный момент смысла нет, также как и нет этих возможностей, поэтому пока что ставлю диз, так как считаю что в таком виде выпускать "игры" просто должны запретить!!! This game has potential, but that's all it has.. very little content and quite boring to be honest. I walked around for ages, come across a couple of buildings with not much to. The paths just seem to go on and on with the same old trees and rocks and lead to nowhere. Took awhile to find my way back to where I started as the map is useless and displays no info at all (why is this even there?). I did see a rabbit and a snake which was the only form of life (apart from the guy in the store which I wanted to smack over the head with my axe). There's just nothing to do in this game. I know it's only early access, but come on devs, this should have not been released until it was at least playable without being frustrating. When a decent update has been made and a lot more content added then maybe I will change my point of view, but until then, it's a big thumbs down for me. EDIT: Well, thought I'd give this another go as it's been some time since I played it last.. This game still sucks big time.. map has not improved at all, virtually no content as I walked for ages and like the first time I played this just trees, trees and more trees.. Whatever updates there have been must be little to none as I have not seen any improvements at all, especially with the graphics.. One of the most boring games I've every played.. and I've played a lot of boring games.. I really had hopes for this game but it doesn't seem to be progressing much at all.. Time to put this in the 'Abandonware bin' i think..

For now I will be very brief because the game is at very early stages and wouldn't be fair to talk a lot about Pros and Cons, because let's face it, there are plenty of both! But who care's it's early access and that's great because the players get to choose how the game is molded and which direction it goes. But that said I am really enjoying the atmosphere and it's a nice refreshing break from all the other survival games out there. At the current stage there isn't a lot to do other than explore and gather food and water, herbs for trading and basic crafting of structures etc. So it's really just the point of survival now, but the Road map looks amazing! Soon animal AI will also cause threats and eventually Disaster Events will be the focus and this will push the player to prepare for this occasion. If you are looking for another DAY Z or SCUM type game then look elsewhere! This is a Player versus the Environment game and that is the very thing that people should expect as it's really for the purists out there. It's a thing called Hardcore Survival! This is a game that you can lose yourself for hours and forget about work etc. Wander the environment listen to the sounds of nature and just take in the wonderful atmosphere the game has to offer. I must say the best thing about this game is the great community and very hard working committed Development Team. These 2 guys are working day in and day out to improve and polish this already marvelous stone into a precious Gem that it will be one day. I am certain of this! I played a lot of similar games out there, but never have I been so impressed at such an early stage in development. The passion, the devotion it just pours out, like paint onto a canvas! I have to admit at first I was hesitant, but now the more I play the more I am addicted. This is really all I have to say for now, but I will be updating my review after Early access, so I can really show off the features and also add some videos of the game play. PLEASE NOTE: This is my Personal Opinion on what needs to be fixed, Changed or Added Into the game as this is an Alpha game There is bound to be bugs and glitches in the game which im sure will be taken care of as soon as possible. I love the game its truly Amazing and a great Idea It just needs a little more work done and ofcourse that was promised to us that he will keep working on it It just takes Time to do the Coding Necessary KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK Can't wait to see more progress done Theres a Bug when you Craft the crafting station and sleep in a sleeping bag the Crafting Table dissapears atleast it did for me... You Die without warning of your health getting low... I wish there was a better map because I got completly lossed atleast make markers please ... The food is so Few and Far Between just like Branches... You should be able to Boil water to make Clean water... I truly hope he puts Animals in game... as of right now its Always day out... I wish they would make it so you can work on building up your Stamina with stats as you can do that in IRL ... The shop keep when you click on what he sales it wont let you switch back to your items so you can sale to him... Please make it so we have the Option to Continue or start over whenever we Die Depending on what Difficulty we set it at before we enter the game
