I really enjoy this game's combat and characters, both of which have a lot more going on than you'd first expect. I also like the idea that this game is priced as it is because it plays out like the first season of a series used to set up the story and mysteries that will spread across the rest of the series. If the other games are similarly-priced (and similar lengths), the franchise will have more content per dollar than a lot of games with a similar price. While I'm still playing through it, knowing that there are plans for more from people with a passion for their story makes me excited for when the future games will come out. In a world where things are getting stressful, this is a breath of fresh air that puts a smile on my face.
Traff is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ one of the best characters in any work of fiction. No I will not elaborate on this point any further.
genuinely such a beautiful and well thought out story, with a fantastic gameplay experience!! usually i'm not a fan of cartoony action RPG's but after the learning curve this game adds so many little details to the mechanics that it makes eash fight new and fun!!! violent and funny I desperately need more games like this one!!
An action-adventure game in the style of Cartoon Network/Nickelodeon cartoons with elements of RPG, Beat 'em up, and Dodgeball for 1-2 players. Help animated drawings save a paper world from water monsters. Gameplay: https://youtu.be/g0XgrNkzRSM You can play solo or with a friend (local co-op or online via Remote Play Together). It's a shared screen experience. One player uses a keyboard and mouse, while the second player requires a controller. Ink Inside was originally written as an animated series for Nickelodeon, but was later converted into a game. The developers have divided the content into three parts and are planning a sequel. You explore an interactive, hand-drawn world as Stick and Traff. Between the narrative and cutscenes, you complete quests and battle in small arenas with water blobs (wet monsters). To defeat enemies, you throw cores at them like in a game of dodgeball, using various combos and items. As you progress, you improve your hero's stats, earn various pieces of equipment, and unlock new skills and special moves. + All handmade! + Unique visual style and art. + Stunning animation and voice acting. + Original music. + Live action cutscenes. + Suitable for all ages. + 2 playable characters: Stick and Traff. + 3 biomes and 3 cities. + Quests and secrets. + Character leveling. + Diverse equipment. + Achievements.
fun times. eagerly waiting for the next part of the story to drop
Can't wait for the high school anime arc
Please, if you're looking through this and are unsure about purchasing this silly indie game, do it. Just do it.Give it a shot, and don't let go.It’s the weirdest fun ride to be on. You'll thank me later.
It is quite difficult to accurately describe the cause of my strong feeling to this game. Much like its main characters, INK INSIDE is an incredibly facetted and layered game. As one can gleam from the description here on Steam, a focus is on the dodgeball combat + brawling mechanic. It is very difficult to design characters likable enough that one does not grow tired or annoyed of them after a few fights, but every second I was playing the game my love for every single one of these fictional folks just kept growing. I have teared up, laughed, even called out loud while playing INK INSIDE, and I cannot recommend it enough. As a warning though, it can get a little text heavy. If you can stomach brisk reading (and glowing VO performances) in your video games though, I ask you to please buy it and show the developer your support. 10/10 would zonk again
This game is INSANELY good. It's my new favorite when it comes to "earthbound"-like indie RPG games. "Ink Inside" has incredibly good writing, voice acting, characters, and artwork. I've never been in a dodgeball match myself, I think, but this game manages to encapsulate some fun ways to aim and attack things REALLY well. I was also really impressed by how smooth the mechanics surrounding combat, items, and upgrades were. And the ability to fast-forward through scenes you've been through (or not) is super useful, and helps the further along you get (if achievements are your thing). The indie devs that worked on this thought of everything, (just look at the custom difficulty options) and I highly recommend experiencing this wonderful, weird game yourself.
Ink Inside is UNEXPECTEDLY one of the most tightly written narrative experiences I've ever played. It could make me laugh out loud. It could make me cry just a tiny bit. It could make me imagine the world and our troubles in a different way. Ink Inside is a #$&@in steal for its price. If you see Ink Inside on sale purchase it for yourself and three of your friends. Ink Inside is the best indie RPG since [COMPARISON TO BIG-NAME INDIE RPG REDACTED]. The illustrated graphics? One protagonist says F#$K three or four hundred times.
