About
InFlux Redux is a high-def remake of the 2013 ball-rolling puzzler InFlux, built on a brand new engine with completely overhauled graphics, physics and game code.
InFlux is a puzzle game that mixes exploration and platforming in a series of beautiful natural and abstract environments. You are a mysterious metal sphere which falls from the sky, traversing an apparently deserted island dotted with cubic structures of glass and steel. Each glasshouse is a puzzle to be solved. Redux is the same game, except better in every way, having been rewritten from scratch in Unreal Engine 5.
Roll your way through a series of beautiful and varied naturalistic environments
Solve a sequence of mind-bending cubic puzzle structures
Forge an alliance with a majestic and enigmatic humpback whale
Enjoy an extensive original soundtrack by composer Jonathan Yandel
We took so long to make this that it is technically a remaster of a remaster of a remaster

A super chill ball-rolling puzzle game, and it looks extremely pretty too!
Fun and chill mix of puzzles and exploration with great music to accentuate both parts of the experience. Gorgeous looking as well, took the time to fine tune my settings so that the game would stay beautiful at a high framerate because it really deserves it. It also has potential to be a good speedrun game, with movement tech that allows you to speed up or outright skip some puzzles.
I tried to play this, but Joe ate the ball. Very nice relaxing physics puzzle game.
Beautiful remake. I have original Influx on gog and I have finished it at least 3 times. One of the most relaxing games Ive ever played. I was slowly losing hope for this to ever come out but Im very glad it did. Thank you for this. Its my little gem of a game.

Crashes on my PC from time to time (not sure if it's because of the OS, hardware, or the game itself), which is not a problem since i never lost any progress thanks to autosave and checkpoints. Invisible walls on the island break my flow a bit, but i guess it's part of the design, just gotta roll (hehe) with it. Overall, i keep going back to it. It looks pretty, puzzles are challenging but not frustrating (for now). It's a game. A good one, even.
I bought this only having looked at screenshots, and I really didn't know what to expect outside of rolling around exploring, and that there'd be some puzzles involved. It was not at all what I expected it to be, but I'm in no way disappointed. The mechanics of the game are simple enough that you can figure everything out yourself, and the puzzles are challenging, without being super frustrating. It's also quite pretty! Great frame rate at 3840x2160 on my 5080, and I have to say.. the water when you get to the beach at sunset.. so mesmerising! I will say that the standard price is probably a bit steep if you just want to play through the story and not explore to find stuff, but if you're the kind who wants to 100% the game, probably worth it. I got it on sale for $15, and wasn't disappointed!
