Are you expecting a cool tactical game that brings back the thrilling combat of *XCOMEU/2* or *Phoenix Point*? Well, you won't find that here. Even *Xcom Chimera Squad* offered more engaging and deep tactical gameplay than this—and *Chimera Squad* was absolute trash imo. This game features tactics on the level as *Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden*, spiced up with random action cards that both you and your opponent draw during battle. Do they provide an advantage? Yes, a massive one. Does victory depend on them? 100%. Can you control them? Not a chance. And if you actually want to play the campaign, be prepared for bugs; for instance, when completing the final mission of Chapter 4, the game might register a "defeat" right after the victory dialogue—forcing you to replay a rather tedious mission all over again. Good luck, I guess. It’s perfect for the "soy" fans of *Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden*.

A very fun digital take on the Infinity Ariadna board game. Worth checking out!
Game is clearly using AI for narration, even the character "concepts" seem AI vibecoded and like copies of existing franchises. Also they launched with day 1 DLC release AND you have to grind to unlock the characters in the game...
Super good tactics game. Been playing in the Beta for a while and have been looking forward to the release. Massive props to the Devs for the Anti-RNG update, has made the game feel a lot better. If you like Turn-Based Strategy and/or Hexagons I'd very much recommend.

I love this game. Perfect combination of a shortwhile arena battler and great visuals out of the Infinity universe with a great campaign. I will do a more detailed review soon.
Yo! Honest review. I played the Demo, and wasn't feeling it, very clunky. I am a huge infinity fan and want this game to be great. Bought the release, I'm in love! Its absolutely wonderful. Look there are things that could be better for quality of life. But the game is extremely addicting and tactical. As an infinity nerd I love the lore they put in. Everything is very accessible and intuitive no problem with the game play. Very tactically rich and exciting matches. I'm playing a bunch of ranked online, but the campaign actually took me by surprise in how much thought went into it. Each match is like a puzzle that they do a great job of taking you through multiple characters and strategies making you use all the tools at your disposal to progress. They do a great job of showing you the depth of the game while making it fun and not hand holding. Criticism is the dialogue in the campaign is like a comic book you don't get to see moving animations or voice acting but I'm ok with that, the games 20 bucks. As a person that usually skips dialogue I still have enjoyed reading every line and love the lore exerts where they give back drop to some of the terms they use to first time audience of the IP. Matchmaking it would be nice if you could add friends and be able to just invite friends to duels instead of having to share a code they join your match with. I refute all the negative reviews, I am hyper critical and I love this game. I will play it to death and really hope people give it love and attention. I hope it brings more people to Infinity and is a success for Corvus Belli. This is a table top experience and works your brain in a delightful way. Don't sleep on it, its great.
A step‑by‑step strategy in a session game — how did no one think of this before? I hope there won’t be any problems with finding opponents in the future, given that the game is paid.
The game has waaaay to many animations and dialogue. The game itself is fun but with all the extra crap going on it feels like you only get to play 20% of the time and the rest of the time you are just sitting there watching it. Not at all worth the money.
