Infinity: HexaDome Tactics

A very interesting game, with lots of subtle mechanics that aren't immediately obvious but give it depth; I'd love to see a Ukrainian localization.

It's not really living up to 2026 and I wouldn't tell anyone to buy it. But with so many sobbing reviewers pushing this down because GenAI was used somewhere along the way, I'll gladly compensate.

Infinity: HexaDome Tactics is a turn-based tactical PvP game that focuses more on strategy than luck. What I like most is that combat doesn’t rely on random hit chances or critical hits. Every decision feels clear, and winning or losing depends more on team composition, positioning, skill usage, and Tactic Cards than RNG. The objective also isn’t just about eliminating the enemy team. You have to fight for control points, so every turn makes you think about whether to attack, retreat, or give something up to secure a better position. Each character has a distinct role, and combining their abilities with Tactic Cards gives you plenty of room to experiment with different strategies and combos. The main downside is the learning curve. There are quite a lot of characters, skills, effects, and cards to learn, so it may take some time before everything starts to click. Aside from PvP, the game also includes a Campaign, Challenges, and matches against AI. Overall, if you enjoy XCOM-style turn-based games but prefer winning through planning rather than praying to RNG, this one is definitely worth checking out. I think there’s enough content here to make it feel well worth the price.

This is the case when a board game turned out to be too complex to be implemented as a board game, and it turned into a computer game.

Great game. If you enjoy competitive PvP and tactical games like XCOM, I can't recommend it enough. As far as I'm aware, there's nothing else quite like it out there. It's a lot more complex and strategic than I initially expected, and surprisingly well balanced. The art style is also great (imo). The campaign mode had a minor bug that was fixed by reloading, I've mostly been playing ranked, and its been great
