If you're familiar with Zach-like puzzle games, you'll be right at home in this delightful programming puzzle game, and if things are ever too difficult, you can always just make that your downie's problem. I highly recommend trying the demo first. Your progress from the demo transfers directly to the full game, and you can play the demo as long as you want; you're just limited to the first 18 levels, which should be more than enough to decide if you want to buy the game.
This is a pretty neat Zachlike game, but there are a few negative points - almost every later game level comes down to avoiding concurrency issues, so you have to spend valuable space on putting locks everywhere. This gets even worse when some of your earlier modules worked fine, but you realize once they are part of a larger system, everything gets slightly out of sync. Also, the scoring system seems to take account all the specs of your current submodules, which means if you want to optimize and come on the leaderboards, you can only optimize for one or the other, as you have to change all the modules over to be faster/smaller. Still, it is well designed and pretty challenging, so I recommend it.
Following on from ComPressure, this is another addictive and quirky puzzle game in a similar mold - but with a gentler learning curve and more ways to add in your own designs. Very enjoyable, arguably moreso than ComPressure. Dev is also friendly and responsive on discord and fixes issues very quickly. Definitely recommend!
Excellent logic/programming/brain aneurysm game. Difficult but approachable. Dev and others are excellent and responsive on Discord. If logic/programming games are your thing, this is also your thing. A+.
This is a puzzle game that aims to be automatically generated. However, many of them require knowledge of mathematics to generate. If you don't understand the recursive process, you're likely not 100% enjoyable. Still, it must be a good game, so I definitely recommend it.
Excellent puzzle game centered around recursion. A very nice way to fuel my zach like addicition. Being able to reuse components and to make custom ones for specific levels is a nice way to allow for some complex puzzle. It also encourages you to improve said designs to get even better scores.

Infinite Turtles is an incredibly fun and addictive game in the Zach-like genre that has you solve problems with conveyor belts and numbered tokens. A lot of the unique gameplay comes through in the form of recursion in which you can place an unsolved puzzle inside of itself to ultimately solve it through repeating the initial steps n-number of times to reach a solution which mimics the loop structure in most programming languages. Every previous solution also becomes a new component available to you in future puzzles to make use of in future solutions. This takes the usual aspect from Zach-likes of revisiting previous puzzles to improve solutions for speed or space and turns it into a valuable use of time for improving future solutions as opposed to just being a fun incentive to replay older levels. Combining that with the ability to arbitrarily create custom components with a great built-in documentation system and a wealth of content beyond the initial set of puzzles that includes both community-made and in-game content it becomes very difficult to run out of content. Overall this has become a great new time waster when I have five minutes to spare as well as an easy way to spend an entire evening optimizing old solutions or attempting to solve the current challenging level I get stuck on.
Cool programming/logic game in the vein of prime mover and zachtronics, light on story but deep on mechanics. Very simple graphics but that also makes your works clearly legible, which is a must as problems get wildly more complex after the first couple of hours (the demo). If you're into zachtronics games this is a must. The "unique" thing this game does is that all components you can use except the first few are made by yourself, and when you improve a previous solution it will improve all instances of that component in every other solution. Pretty neat, but this does mean the scoreboard is basically incremental; if you've done a bad job on previous solutions you'll have a handicap. Not a big deal for me (I don't play for score/optimization), but could be a deal breaker for some. The game controls very well and it features loads of ease of use options like copy/paste, coloring pathways, adding comments, and saving multiple designs. For 10 bucks this is a steal.
Infinite Turtles is a really cool programming puzzle game. It uses grids and reusable components, like the developer's previous game ComPressure, and it focuses on processing lists of tokens, like TIS-100. But there is a big focus on recursion: the result feels more like writing functional programs instead of imperative programs. And getting to the point where you can add 1 + 1 to make 2 with your components feels like accomplishing a mathematical proof. You can copy components from other players, so there is good freedom to focus on the most interesting parts first.
