I love this game in non-vr mode, but here it feels like a butchered version of the original. The controls are extremely counterintuitive, but the worst™ part is that you can't move freely and you can only teleport to move around. Because of this, I couldn't even finish the tutorial without needing to restart the game multiple times, since I kept getting stuck in the walls. Maybe it's a skill issue, but for casual gamers, just play in desktop mode at this point.

I tried House Flipper VR mainly because I liked the original game, and doing renovations in virtual reality turned out to be surprisingly immersive. Actually painting walls, cleaning up trash, and placing furniture with motion controls makes everything feel more hands-on and satisfying. It’s not perfect — sometimes the controls can feel a bit clunky — but once you get used to them, the experience becomes really relaxing. There’s something genuinely enjoyable about transforming a messy space into a clean, stylish home step by step. If you enjoy VR games that let you take your time and focus on creative tasks, this one is definitely worth checking out.
House Flipper VR is a virtual reality reinterpretation of the well-known renovation simulator, developed by Frozen Way and published by Frozen Way, Frozen District, and PlayWay S.A., that aims to place players directly inside the renovation process rather than observing it from a distance. By translating the familiar house-flipping loop into VR, the game shifts the experience from menu-driven efficiency to physical presence, asking players to clean, repair, paint, and decorate homes using motion-controlled tools and hands-on interaction. The result is an experience that feels more personal and immersive, but also more demanding and occasionally unwieldy. The core gameplay structure closely mirrors the traditional House Flipper formula. Players take on renovation jobs or work on owned properties, gradually transforming dirty, neglected spaces into livable and attractive homes. Tasks include picking up trash, scrubbing grime from walls and floors, repainting surfaces, assembling furniture, and arranging décor to improve a property’s value. In VR, these actions are performed manually: you physically swing a cleaning tool, apply paint with broad arm movements, and grab furniture objects to reposition them. This tactile approach adds a layer of satisfaction to even the most mundane chores, making progress feel earned through effort rather than simple button presses. Immersion is the game’s greatest strength. Standing inside a virtual house and interacting with objects at real-world scale creates a sense of presence that flat-screen simulations cannot replicate. Walking through a room you’ve just cleaned or stepping back to admire freshly painted walls can be surprisingly rewarding. For players who enjoy methodical, low-pressure gameplay, this physical engagement can feel calming and almost therapeutic, turning repetitive tasks into a form of relaxed routine. That said, VR interaction also exposes the limitations of the system. Controls can feel imprecise, especially when handling small objects or placing furniture in tight spaces. Items may clip through surfaces, snap awkwardly, or require repeated adjustments to position correctly. Menus and interface elements, while functional, can sometimes interrupt immersion by floating awkwardly in view or requiring extra steps to navigate. These friction points can turn otherwise satisfying tasks into moments of frustration, particularly during longer sessions. Visually, House Flipper VR adopts a clean and utilitarian style designed to prioritize performance and clarity over realism. Environments are readable and functional, with simple textures and lighting that hold up well at close range without overtaxing VR hardware. While the visuals lack the richness and detail of more advanced VR titles, this restraint helps maintain smooth performance, which is critical for comfort. The homes themselves feel believable enough to support the fantasy of renovation, even if they don’t strive for photorealism. Content-wise, the VR version is more limited than its flat-screen counterparts. While it offers a range of renovation jobs and properties to work on, deeper systems such as extensive structural remodeling or complex property management are either simplified or absent. Customization options for furniture and décor are present but not expansive, which may disappoint players familiar with the broader feature set of the non-VR editions. As a result, the experience leans more toward cleaning, repairing, and decorating rather than full-scale renovation and design. Sound design is understated but effective. Environmental sounds, tool effects, and subtle ambient noise help reinforce the sense of being inside a physical space without becoming distracting. Music takes a backseat, allowing the focus to remain on the tasks at hand. This subdued audio approach complements the game’s relaxed pacing, though it doesn’t add much personality or emotional texture beyond basic immersion. Comfort and accessibility are important considerations, and the game supports multiple play styles, including standing, room-scale, and seated play. Movement options are designed to reduce motion sickness, though extended play can still be physically tiring due to the repeated arm motions required for cleaning and painting. This physicality is part of the appeal, but it also limits how long some players may want to stay immersed in a single session. Ultimately, House Flipper VR is an experience built around the novelty and immersion of hands-on renovation in virtual reality. When its systems align, it delivers a uniquely engaging take on everyday tasks, making cleaning and decorating feel oddly satisfying. However, control imprecision, reduced depth compared to the flat-screen series, and occasional technical roughness prevent it from fully realizing its potential. It is best suited for players who value immersion and tactile interaction over efficiency and complexity, and who are willing to accept some friction in exchange for the feeling of truly stepping inside a renovation project. Rating: 5/10

Игра абсолютно сырая. Постоянные вылеты и зависания +непонятные и глупые задания.
So I tried it out, thought house flipper was fun so the vr would be the same right? WRONG it feels like a different game, - ui is confusing - controls are clunky - the sprayer feels unnecessary the game is basically bare bones version of house flipper and worse. I dont recommend getting it, not fun :<
