By accident I turned an innocent human into a walking bomb that would, with the slightest provocation, wipe my board. 10/10 would do so again.
Really enjoyable and So much potential !
very nice
Really cool game so far. Any plans for a mobile/android release
I really enjoy the openness that this game offers, it allows you to really make unexpected combos. I look forward to the next updates to see what other keywords and card types will be added.
It's solid with potential. Unfortunately for me, some off putting design choices - long runs, massive investment to get a boss deck built, jarring AI art alongside basic UI elements, slow mouse, constraints on duplicating cards - along with fairly standard combat - was sadly enough to make my time playing less interesting than hoped. Perhaps, I'll look to revisit in future based on updates.
Great game, needs some polishing and i would love to name the cards i got to keep
TL;DR: Deckbuilder with random cards, a lot of fun but can be very confusing. A deckbuilder game where every card is randomly generated. Normally I really like metaprogression in any game, but this one solved it in a really cool way: there is a "meta" boss you can fight, and every time you complete a normal run you get to keep a single card from your deck to put into your meta deck. You need to beat the game 20 times before you can even try it. The cards themselves are grouped into three types: Units (creatures on the board that can fight), Relics (permanent objects on the board that can influence the board), and Spells (one-time effects). They each use mostly the same "card abilities", but they're heavily weighted towards certain types. For example, relics that trigger when you discard, units that get stronger when they fight, spells that summon several small units, etc. The amount of different abilities, triggers and effects is large, but not incomprehensibly so. While the game says it has "infinite cards", it doesn't actually feel like that in-game, you'll build an intuition for what you can or can't expect from a card. The game has two downsides, in my opinion: 1. I love the "infinite" aspect, you can theory-craft extremely interesting decks. But you play with a "Commander" unit each run, and there's only a finite number of commands. As such, some builds are just less viable than others, because they don't have a Commander that was built for them. I think I would prefer the game better if it didn't have Commanders, or if Commanders were collected during a run just as cards are, also with random effects. 2. The UI is confusing, which is to be expected given the nature of the game. There are no helpful hovers on what abilities do. Once you play for a while, you will understand what each card does -- they're so simple that it's easy to comprehend -- but you WILL be incorrect about how some things work for a while, and you'll only figure that out by trying it and realizing you misunderstood. That means the initial learning curve is mostly about getting over your frustration of misinterpreting how abilities work. All in all, this game is a great fit for me. If you liked this game, I can also recommend other games: Erranorth Chronicles, Cube Chaos, Rift Wizard, Golem Factory.
