It deserves been in an arcade

Played the first 4 levels of the game, and was greeted with a bug; I was unable to navigate the "Enhancements" part of the menu for ship upgrades with keyboard. I was unable to click on the options either, allowed only allotting points into speed. I was able to do upgrades as much as I pleased, whether I had the ACTUAL skill point or not. Upon putting more than 3 points into speed, the game tells me I get "Error" speed, and I end up not being able to move at all. Frozen in place. Broken game, refunded.

Excellent vector-style graphics on a dungeon crawler.

I played this game years ago and never reviewed it. It has a graphical style similar to Geometry Wars but with an exploration element as well has level ups and upgrades. Experimenting with the different weapons gives it some light replay value. This game is criminally underrated and well worth the price.

Amazing game. I played the first one on the 360 and bought this one on Steam, Android and the Switch. It's simple, with a nice soundtrack and a good level of challenge. Highly recommended!

Nice, enjoyable game. Excellent soundtrack. Ran well even on my potato of a laptop. Reminds me a bit of the original gauntlet games. I played through the whole thing using nothing but a keyboard, so a twin-stick is not necessary for enjoyment. My laptop is touchscreen, so I tried playing with it using the touch screen for aiming. (Very fun. I do recommend using a mouse, joystick, or trackpad for aiming.) I had a few bugs/glitches, mainly with the upgrade system, but they generally worked in my favor and did not interfere with my ability to enjoy the game. I played the game on moderate/casual difficulty, as I was looking for a time-consumer, not something to challenge me. However, I did test out harder difficulties, and found them not so difficult that I could not play, but not so easy that there was no challenge, especially on the later levels. *********If it shows that I haven't played this game much, that's because my laptop was almost never connected to wifi, and when it was, it was on a network which blocked steam.*********

ツインスティックシューターにガントレットのような探索要素を加えたゲーム。ツインスティックシューターってアーケードゲームみたいに単発で終わりなの多いよね？もっと長ーく成長要素みたいのがある奴を楽しみたい！！って思いで探してたら思い通りのが出てきた…って感じのゲーム。 敵をショットで撃墜しながらキーを取得しエリアの出口へ向かう　を繰り返す。お金と経験値成長概念があり、戦闘機を操る普通のシューティングっぽい見た目ながら、ショップやエリアごとのセーブ機能があるのもあいまってＲＰＧ的である。敵の巣のようなオブジェがあり、放置すると敵がもりもり湧いてくる。雑魚を片っ端から葬って巣をひねりつぶしていくのだが、敵が容赦なくわく為、火力で圧倒していく。通常ショット４種類とミサイル４種類、スペシャル４種類をレベルアップ時に取得できるポイントで強化しつつねじ伏せていく。通常ショットは効かずにミサイルでのみダメージが入る敵等がおり、進行のメリハリもそこそこ。　通常難易度を選択すれば、ツインスティックシューターに慣れてる人ならサクサククリアできる。　クリア後の高難易度モードにチャレンジしないなら１日もかからずクリアできるだろう。 英語のみだが、文章量は少なく、隠し通路やミサイルで壊せる壁について理解できれば中学生程度の英語力で問題ない。 2作目らしいがゲーム中はストーリーらしいものはなく、本作から始めても問題ないだろう。 箱コンを使用。快適に遊べた。 もともと安いので気に入らなくても痛くはなかろう。気になる人は気楽にポチ。
