Indiana Jones® and the Infernal Machine™

Yeah so this kinda is a good game, but if your'e looking for a quick action game you might wanna try Emperors Tomb instead. Infernal Machine is more like focused on jumping, climbing and solving puzzles while the fighting mechanic are kinda meh. The puzzles are mostly fun but sometimes solutions to them can be either a bit stupid or not hinted towards at all and thus hard to notice. You know that feeling when you've checked every corner of the level wondering what to do? Then you check out a walktrough on youtube and then see that it was something extremely simple you just happened to miss? For someone with good anger management that might be acceptable but that someone aint me. The only real TECHNICAL ISSUE i encountered was when the game kept crashing during the opening cutscene of the "palawan temple" level. It looks like pretty much the only way to fix this is by editing the script in one of the games .cog files. You can find the full solution by searching "palawan temple crash" in the community discussions. Also sometimes (but not always) the game crashed when taking aim with the SKS rifle or opening a locked door. Otherwise everything worked fine. Also, When youre loading a saved game you better remember the name of your save file cuz for some reason you have to type it in in yourself or otherwise it wont show up.

Played through this game so many times over the years, and I love it every time. Brings me back to simpler days, when this was my sole worry in life. Tomb Raider-esque gameplay takes some getting used to, but the puzzles are fun and the levels are intricate. My favorite is the Lagoon level for it's ambiance, and lack of human enemies. It really makes me feel like I'm the only one around. Recommended.

Aunque el control y la cámara del juego pueden sentirse algo toscos y rígidos bajo los estándares actuales, la genialidad de sus niveles y el diseño de sus puzles compensan de sobra cualquier limitación técnica de la época. La historia nos lleva por templos antiguos y localizaciones increíbles en una carrera contra los soviéticos, manteniendo un ritmo excelente gracias a una combinación genial de plataformas, combate y exploración de la vieja escuela. Es un juego largo, desafiante y con una atmósfera tremenda que los fans de Tomb Raider clásico y de Indiana Jones van a disfrutar muchísimo. Un clásico imprescindible en PC que, a pesar de sus años, sigue transmitiendo esa inigualable sensación de ser un verdadero arqueólogo aventurero.
