The worst wannabe Tarkov i know
Great game, slow paced updates but 1.3 felt like it made the game jump from a tech demo to an actual game
Disclaimer: Written by casual gamers on mid-level hardware. We decided to give IRR a try for two main reasons: 1. To really REALLY support smaller development teams and give them an opportunity - the most important overall reason! 2. The recent Reworked AI by Solarint sounded promising. In an era where intelligent opponents often make or break a shooter, this was our key gameplay reason! The experience? While playing on Hard I had an enemy right in front of me for about an entire minute shooting 3 meters to my left. This is not what we expected. To keep it short and to the point, rendering had its issues when loading up a mission and yes, loading times are [a bit] too long but these are things we could easily overlook. Once all textures loaded, the game ran fine on High settings and the world looked very - if not extremely - nice! Movement was good, sounds were good, and I could go on, and on, and on but these are essentially sidenotes if I am to be faithful to my priorities and WHY we bought the game. A Broader Thought: As someone somewhat involved in the industry, it puzzles me why developers (not necessary Games Of Tomorrow GmbH in IRR but in general) seem to prioritize using AI for sloppy content generation rather than harnessing that technology to create intelligent, reactive enemy behavior as this is where the real magic happens for us players. Conclusion: We truly loved this game. We are more than willing to give it another shot once the enemy AI has been further refined however, having already played 1.5hrs it will be hard to do so considering Steam's current policies.
Fun shooter that is already pretty solid for early access. Sneaking around and picking off enemies while hiding in the jungle took me back to the days of the original Far Cry. Looks great but performance could be more optimized. However by using optiscaler to run FSR4, I am able to run it at 4k high/max quality at around 100fps which is good enough. I am not a fan of the looting system in this or any other shooter. It kills the momentum for me and I don't find it enjoyable trying to manage all the random crap and dragging items around between boxes. I would much prefer to simply select a saved loadout and deploy. Luckily, I found out after playing for a bit that you can completely bypass the looting system and it became much more fun. You simply start a new game, use a few console commands to give yourself max cash and reputation, and then you can build whatever loadout you want right from the beginning and just focus on completing the missions without having to search everything.
beautiful game very intense for a pve game loving it so far
I absolutely love the game and had fun playing even for just a short while. The moment I had my first firefight encounter I knew I was gonna love this game. The sound effects in this game is auditorily appealing to the point I feel like having an eargasm every time I hear footsteps or gunshots. Although verticality still needs a fix as its very confusing to hear footsteps beside you but its actually coming from the top of the watchtower to your left. The UI is fine, I wouldn't say it's praiseworthy great but it's good enough to not confuse the player and doesn't get in the way of your gameplay. I couldn't try every gun in the game due to my short playtime but the gunplay is very satisfying (based on the weapons I could pick up from the bots and the provided loadouts). This is the kind of game I've always wanted, an actually decent PvE extraction shooter that you can play casually. Unfortunately it runs very poorly on my PC despite adjusting the settings to the reasonable lowest without compromising too much visual fidelity that gives me an unforgiving disadvantage at long-ranged engagements (since it makes everything far away pixelated), the game just keeps stuttering and dropping frames so sadly it's unplayable on my PC. I hope to buy this game again when I get a better rig and the game's performance is improved enough for me to at least play at a smooth 60-90fps with less frame drops. I doubt you can run this game (in its current state) on an RX 5700XT, much less a GTX 1060.
This game is legit worth every dime spent on it. The guns feel great and the maps are varied. The AI can and will push your ♥♥♥♥ in if you give them an inch or run in too stupidly. This is also the only extraction shooter right now that seems to be PvE focused out of the box and thus offers a nice break from the stale muh uh PvPvE pew pew section. The updates do tend to take their time tho and the performance leaves a lot to be desired at times. But this game still stands well on its own right. If they iron out the performance and expand on the game's map pool, then this game will definitively be a GOAT even more than it is right now in my book.
very good goodgood!! very good!!! good good good!!!
被草丛秒了
+ Good solo PvE experience + no time limit in map + customizable gameplay + smooth gunplay - a bit lack of in-depth gameplay + limited arsenal/equipments (definitely need more guns and accessories) + performance wise need some improvements Love how the game allows one to customize the difficulty of the game and how AI behaves. I really enjoy extraction shooters but is just not good enough and don't like the extremely pressured and unrewarding gaming experience in games like Arena Breakout and Delta Force so this game really provides what I want. If you just want to loot and explore a bit without intense fighting, just set AI to easy and enjoy walking around the map as long as you want. Devs also provides update roadmaps and shares work in progress from time to time. As a game that is in early access, I would say it's promising and could definitely give it a try especially when there's a discount:)
