I just finished this game and WOW, it definitely exceeded my expectations. The story of If Found... is deeply emotional, masterfully written, and offers a glimpse into some of the real world struggles that members of the transgender community could experience. The erasing of kasio's diary entries to progress the story is such a brilliant, heartbreaking metaphor for trying to erase yourself, your memories, or entire chapters of your life. When combined with the stunning, raw art style and the incredible soundtrack, it creates a deeply emotional, unforgettable experience. Personally, I'm very happy with what I got from this game. Playing this game was an amazing experience that I don't think I'll be forgetting anytime soon. Trans rights!! 🏳️⚧️

Incredible art and storyline. It's been 3 years since I first played this game, but I still think about it often. A storyline about loving outer space, loving music, taking care of relationships, and learning to love oneself.
this game broke my heart for about the last two chapters mostly the last one i was at the bring of tears right about to cry as a trans women myself it broke my heart seeing how the protaganist was treated by her family it made me this about my life how jounrey as a trans women and made me think about my life and fututre more then i have in a long time making me think about how stupid predjuice is when like is so short we get about 110 years i think if were lucky and dont drink do drugs or smoke but its usually around 80 years that we get and so we should just be ourselves and surround ourselfes with people who accept us and love us and do our best to live our lives how we want and not hide away scared to be who we truley are i know after playing this i wont hide I'll be myself no matter what to the end and should everyone and work together to make our home ours and make it equal for everyone regardless of gender, race, imperfectioions, sexuality, appearsences, or anything else that makes us differnt........... oh god i barely talked about the game lol sorryyyy but overall this game is beatiuflly heartbreaking in a good way love is love this game shows us that acceptance of others is key
I find it difficult to talk at length about games of this sort, feeling far too personal and heartfelt a thing for me to do something so crass as to "review" it. Suffice it to say, If Found... is a game about being lost and eventually finding your way. It's a story as old as time, one that embraces the "freaks," giving them warmth in the winter months. I guess that's what I come away from the game with, this sensation of pure warmth. It just feels like a long hug with someone after a lifetime of being all alone. I cannot say I precisely relate to the feelings on display, but I found them sympathetic and moving, certainly helped by the honest, true-to-life writing that felt less so like fiction and more so like someone lifting real events from life and putting them to screen, or in this case a sort of digital paper. I appreciate the main gimmick of progressing the story, this idea of erasing memories as you progress further and further, getting closer to "The Event," until afterwards you begin to write anew. With that change, you get this lovely sensation of moving on toward something new, something better. I also loved the decision to end the bulk of the game on designing Kasio and how she looks. To me, this felt like a beautiful way to cap off the game (even if you get some lovely post-game stuff to fill out the future of these characters a bit, a sort of "where are they now" epilogue). It's heartwarming to find more and more LGBT-forward stories of this ilk and especially to find them both specific and universal. There is no need to relate to what you find here as the story is moving all the same, its visuals inspiring and enchanting. But, for those of you who do find kindred spirits in this game, I can only imagine how lovely If Found... must be. In this digital age, despite all its shortcomings, it becomes easier and easier to find people like you, to find others that share your struggles and share your loves. I hope, then, that in this game someone finds a shared soul. Even if I don't share it myself, I can see it clear on display.
Can hardly be called a game. More like an interactive short story. I didn't feel anything for the characters, couldn't relate to a 23 year old who acts like a 15 year old. It felt really boring most of the time. I hoped it would get better or that I'd get more interested in the story. It didn't get better, I was a bit more invested by the end but not enough. I should have just quit at the start and spent my time doing anything else tbh. Shouldn't have bought the game at all.
i cried
