My save got reset after my PC rebooted. Lost all progress.
It's just not good, incredibly slow and boring.
As a connoisseur of Idle games, I find this one to be a fresh and interesting take on the genre. Idle games typically have a way of massively over-complicating things, eventually leading to the player mind-juggling dozens of stats and tasks. Idle looter keeps things fairly simple and manageable, while also adding enough complexity to allow the player agency over their 'playstyle'. The negative reviews do indeed have merit, but they are also somewhat mistaken in some regards. The hunt system does initially require a small grind (which persists through ascension btw) to get access to some major power-ups. Later, you get access to a pet that does them for you automatically. The game is very new, and the 2 devs are working very hard alongside the community to bring positive changes and new content to the game all the time. I personally look forward to what that brings! If in doubt, look at the majority of everyone's playtime on the game, in my eyes, if the bad reviewers are playing for more than 30 hours then they obviously stuck around for some reason...

BE WARNED: This is not as simple of an idle game as it looks, even when you first start to play. If you're not into spending a long time in order to build the best loadout before prestiging, I don't recommend to play this game. This is an idle game that requires a lot more thought into what you're doing in order to progress. It's not like other common idle games where you just constantly prestige to increase in power. Once I realized at the 60-70 hour mark that prestiges were essentially limited, I started a new game with a new approach. But those first 60 hours, I couldn't work out why I was still playing (Keeping the game running in the background). I don't think the exponential increase in difficulty is by design by the developer. I do think not much thought was put into that design. It's a game that was first drafted by ChatGPT. This isn't a "It's bad so it's AI" claim. Anyone that has spent time working with ChatGPT to write code for an HTML game will recognize the common layout format with the background pills for the different sections. And the dev admits as such in the AI usage section stating "We used AI to generate images and for initial code reviews." I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing, good games can be made with AI when it's human guided. But it just shows that a lot of the progression systems has a high chance of being AI, too. So despite this, I think they unknowingly created a difficult idle game which is more the sort of idle game I have been looking for. it will be interesting to see how far of a progression one could make mid to late game when enough preparation is done with each prestige in order to maximize the prestige gain. I haven't joined their discord so I don't know what the meta is or anything like that. This is merely my observations after playing for a reasonable amount of time.
Nice idle battler.
It was fun for the first prestige, then it got super grindy. I get it that it's an idler, but it goes to NGU Idle Sadistic level insanity within the first day. The bounty system is, frankly, stupid. Having to do 100 of those just to even start making progress is obnoxious. The prestige system is similarly grind gated and the idle DPS scaling is massively worse than active clicking. You could let it idle for 3 days to progress, or set up an autoclicker for 12 hours to get the same results. Oh, and the game doesn't give you any feedback other than lighting up things you can buy. It doesn't tell you that you have gear upgrades, or that you have leveled up, or that you got some new items your inventory. tl;dr: It's a super grindy auto battler with progression as slow as molasses.
Awesome idle RPG! I have been playing it on itch.io for over a month now and really enjoying the game. The devs are active on discord and they have a lot planned for this game such as the 5th realm and realm ascension plus more QoL updates. Random Gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIw2yB2Om2U
Lowkey the typa game i be looking for - 10/10 . I'll update at 1k hrs .
What a fun game! I'm still not done! Lots of barriers, a real idle game with long playtime. Amazing mechanics and fun "special effects on weapons" it really makes you think about some strategies.
The pace of progress is really enjoyable. I'm having a great time with the grind and feel like there's always the next goal right on the horizon to strive for!
