Slick, fast paced and addictive. The speed running element of Icebox is fantastic, and it's very difficult to put down, once you decide to climb that leaderboard. There is also a super impressive number of modes available, my favourite being Zen mode and just chasing the best time possible. There is also an option to play the campaign end to end without a loading screen, a challenge I haven't taken on yet but am super keen to investigate. The monthly challenge leaderboard is a great idea, and you can search the leaderboard looking at just your friends times. I need them bragging rights! Having a blast, I totally recommend it!

A very accessible speedrunning FPS game. It feels very smooth and I had a more relaxing time with it than other FPS games aimed at speedrunning - which might be detrimental if you are looking for a hardcore experience with new difficult obstacles at every corner. What is particularly good is that the design, lights and arrow help you anticipate your trajectory and the enemies ahead. Except for the first guns, the weapons were surprisingly beefy and great to use. Although, I would have preferred to bind them to custom keys (ie Q, E, mousewheel up/down) rather than 1 2 3 4 5 (can't afford to move my fingers that far from the movement keys) or the mousewheel (there are too many weapons so it takes too long to switch between the ones that are necessary for the action, I ended up sticking to one weapon for all purposes). Procedural generation is great and adds a lot of content and replayability, although I suppose many players are put off by the basic neon graphics (which I personally enjoyed, on top of that it made the game easy to read and anticipate) and repeating patterns. There are a ton of game mode modifiers, including god mode, infinite jumps and zen mode without enemies. In conclusion, Icebox is not the most challenging nor skill-based speedrun game, but it is very relaxing and enjoyable. Nails that 'one more go' feeling! The run and gun gameplay is slick. I reckon I've only scratched the surface of Icebox has to offer so far. Would definitely recommend.

Icebox is a frantic runner game that feels how many attempts at a decent Tron game should have. The story mode is decent and teaches you what you need to know. The voice acting is decent, and un my opinion above par for an indie title. Where this game shines is in it's online pay. Monthly and daily challenges, procedural levels that can be hard set with 'seeds' so you can test your metal against your mates. I can't wait to see a real community grow around this game. For $10, it's a bargain. Get on it.

**Full Disclosure: I have been bug testing and providing feedack on Icebox for quite a while. I was not payed for this, I did so because I really enjoyed the game and wanted to put in my 2 cents. The review below is of my own personal opinion. This, at times claustrophobic feeling, frantic and addicting first person shooter brings some of the sensibilities from 90's FPS's forward and combines them with a stopwatch and bragings rights. Icebox: Speedgunner gives you a tight campaign experince and then leaves you to crawl, to cheat, to cut corners, to make everyshot count, to fight your way up the leaderboard a show why your beater then everyone else. With daily challenges and many ways to change up the experince, I highly recommend it.

Hello everybody, End World Gaming here to share my thoughts on ICEBOX: Speedgunner. ICEBOX is a fast paced speedrunning game with run and gun mechanics mixed in. The game has you escaping from a virtual prison known as the ICEBOX. With the aid of an unnamed woman, you'll have to make your way to the exit in the fastest time possible without dying along the way. There a lot of different game modes including a 21 level Campaign, Daily/Monthly challenges, Marathons, various Quick Games and 20 New Game+ levels. This (And the leaderboards for each) makes for a lot of replay value, even though the levels go by pretty quickly. The game also allows you to slow down time for a short duration. While in slow motion you take no damage, and move/jump longer distances. So, if you jump off a ledge on accident you can slow down time, jump a few times and land back on the platform so you can continue. Overall, I had quite a bit of fun with ICEBOX Speedgunner. I found it to be pretty addicting but the campaign flew right by due to the relative shortness of the levels. Still, they were a lot of fun to play through and the other game modes proved to be quite fun as well. If you’re into speedrunning games and are looking for something unique then ICEBOX Speedgunner might be a good choice. ICEBOX speedgunner is a game with simplistic yet under the hood complex design. The mechanics for shooting and activating different doors to get your way through the level as fast as possible. This is a speed game that id mainly recommend to beginners who are looking at getting into speed games or potentially speed running. This also works as a game to compete with friends or a game to best the leader board in your spare time as it has an easy learning curve. Over all id recommend this game to really anyone
