Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 23.71/day in the week to Aug 30 → 56.14/day in the week after.

Reviews
This game had potential, but as a solo game it's a disappointing grind combined with the fact that you have a limited choice (due to the points you can get) on the Tech Tree. So, when you start the game, and if you haven't watched any YouTube videos, you start using your points on everything thinking that you will achieve some reasonable number of points each level, so you end up wasting them on frivolous items, or items you end up not using later on. So by the time you are on Tier 4 of the Tech Tree, you don't have enough points to actually get anything useful or fun, and isn't that is what a game is all about, fun. When you create your character your choices are very restricted, you get a choice of really stupid looking face, a moderately stupid face, and a less stupid face (actually three choices). Well, like I said, it had or has potential, but the Devs decided to put their efforts in to creating DLC, which of course you have to pay for. Instead, they should have increased quality of life fixes from gamer input. A selection for sandbox would be an improvement, but that gets boring. It runs well, and the mechanics are good (not great). Icarus basic is cheap now, that is a plus now. Forced CO-OP by Devs sucks, and this is what happens here.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

US · last 30 days

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Nearly quit the game when they changed the small sacks to the right weight, I can't build anymore, I can't move. This game is horrible now.
this game is ass
Что не очень без русской озвучки и руссификацией квестов ничего не понять не буду в нее играть точно.
Story: Purchased EA 08/2021. Had access to Olympus forest and some arctic area. It had wolves, deer, rabbits, and bears (maybe chamois?). A hunt came out for the Wooly. Played for a couple dozen hours total, testing things, providing feedback, reporting bugs. Unfixed aliasing bands on shadows were so nauseating I had to quit slightly prematurely, but the primary complaint in my feedback was simple and critical: animals are r-tarded. What is a game? A game is a system of rules that defines a challenge where success or progress is determined by navigating constraints towards a goal. If there is no meaningful challenge- no opposition or constraint- then it is not a game, but merely a toy. What makes Icarus a game? The rules an challenges should be familiar; basic survival systems management of Health, O2, and Hunger. Mild pre-planning for resource management for your path/destination. And aggressive enemies. Aggressive enemies. This might be the only real "challenge" in the game as the others mentioned are satisfied with very, very little effort. There are two types of fauna in this game; ones that do damage and ones that run or walk in random directions for ~80ft. The ones that do damage, aside from (some) bosses, have one program: look at player, approach to attack distance, initiate attack program. The only deviation from this script I've seen is if the entity seems to be taking too long closing the distance and also seems to be not moving very far itself, so it'll try to move laterally briefly (trying to un-stuck itself from maybe a rock), but its core programming is still always going to be 'walk in an incredibly straight line from here to there'. This just means they didn't have someone (or someone competent) to do pathfinding (classically called "AI" back in my day, before the advent of LLMs, but that's just me showing my age). OK so they have virtually no intelligence (pun intended). Does that mean they're not a challenge? Yes and no, and neither answer is good. No, they're not a challenge, because you can either just "cheese" them or overpower them. Let's look at Polar Bears since everything before this has trivial health and damage. Got a rifle? Cool, crouch and one-shot them. Don't? Cool, just get them to walk into a fun rock formation that keeps them stuck in the still fantastically linear path towards you and slash their nostril with your knife a few times until they turn into pre-epoxy. So here's the crux of the conversation: What happens if you aren't prepared enough for this former option of cheesing, and you are stuck confronting? The world is kind of set up to allow these scenarios to occur; a weather event can hit, just when you pop out of a cave that gave you cave lung, and you didn't clear your peripheral enough to see that polar bear nearby, and how he's "hunting" you straightforwardly. Can you "skill" your way out of it? Brown bears I figured out pretty much instantly; just sidestep towards/past them a bit. They get locked into an attack animation of where you were, and you just clear past their attack sweep. Kiss their teeth with your knife as they approach, and press W&D on the keyboard to Spike Spiegel them. Never take a hit. But then Polar Bears? Again, assuming you can't cheese, what is your recourse? Well considering that so many of the fauna in Icarus share the same skeletons, animations, attitude programming, I thought these would be the same as the brown Bears. But no. They are magicians. They attack backwards. And this is the screenshot in the post. That is reliably reproducible. In fact, it's pretty hard to avoid if you let these little buggers close to you. i'm standing 5 whole leaps behind it watching it attack a ghost, and it's as if its big ol' butt ripped a bloody nuclear one and blasted me 5 feet further away, opposite the direction we can see it is attacking (that blood cloud is mine btw, not his). This is a cheap solution to a r-tarded problem. If you want to venture here, it's not "be prepared". It's "be prepared to cheese." Lame. So anyway to wrap up this rant and get closure to the opening title, these are the same complaints I had in 2021. These and a few more. And not a single one had any meaningful progress. (NOTE: I am under no delusion that I am required to be heard and accommodated for, and admittedly there were a LOT of people flooding the scene at that time). So it makes me sad. I see this game as a core concept skeleton that showed incredible potential, and ultimately was left as a core concept skeleton with some added makeup and clothing (clothing DLC costs extra btw) instead of actually fleshing it out and making it alive
I have spent 140hrs so far on the base game and Im level 45. I would say thats good value. I have not move off the first map and have not even been in the dessert yet. Looking forward to the new biomes. GG so far. Running on a 3 YO gaming laptop and it runs well. Minor issues with lighting effects as usual for me on DX11.
tried it during the free weekend, the landscape is lovely but the feel of crafting and harvesting just feels off to me, it's not smooth or polished. For the amount of DLC's and cost it should feel better. I didn't get to the real story I couldn't get past how off it felt. Maybe it's just me.
My friends and I have continuously played 7 Days to Die, Sons of the Forest, Planet Crafter, and other similar games. We always wanted something more from these games, but it never came... until I learned of Icarus. Icarus has it all. Icarus is by far my favorite survival crafting game. I've put in 168 hours so far and I'm not even close to scratching the surface. I highly recommend this game.
