About
Automate a team of robots to gather resources, reshape terrain, and scale up factories on a procedurally generated alien world.
Every game you are exploring a different planet, with a different set of resources and biomes that present unique challenge. You start able to only see a small area, but as you progress you build out a radio network and unlock more of the world.
Expanding your colony requires ever increasing quantity of resources. Luckily, the planet you're on is ripe with them to find and use.
Anything you can do you can automate. It becomes a necessity as your colony grows larger, and recipes get more complex.

The keybinds don't allow rebinding the Z and Q keys The tutorial goes rogue when creating two fabricators. Product unusable in a European market. Do better.
As a programmer I really enjoy this little gem.
Судя по всему разработчики устали и выпустили игру в состоянии каком она была. С одной стороны есть во что поиграть. Но с другой стороны от туториалов какие-то куски. Из расширенных последний туториал сломан и под конец оставлены только заглушки на посмотреть.
Very interesting game concept with a lot of potential, although currently UI is a bit clunky. Big difference from Factorio and Captain of Industry is that conveyor belts work on a principle of items being requested by manufacturing buildings and routed automatically. Storage is best not dedicated separately to individual item types, but used as a mixed single source of input or output. The destructible/minable/shape-able environment is very cool. Look forward to continued development. Request to devs: please change the default mouse scrollwheel zoom speed, it's jarring
meh in systems all the way down. better examples to be had. The bot logic here is too poor. 1 resource needed to build a thing, as many free builders as are near by all rush to do it. The ones with extra, will stuff it in the reactor as if they didn't get it form somewhere...
Not enough explaination of the commands or scripting. For a 1.0 the documents and tutorial are lacking.
I bought into this for early access. Game isnt bad, but seriously, a 1.0 release with no cloud support. Sad.
This is factory builder for people who want a "real challenge" with a 3d factory builder. I have a lot of time in games like Factorio, and everything being on 3d tiles makes everything much more challenging. You're also given pretty much all the tools you could ask for to program your robots and buildings exactly to spec to match the extra challenge. All in all, I think this is a great factory builder and done by a small team that's always active in the discord. Very good work.
Spent around 10 hours in the demo before playing the full game. It is sad that this game did not attract more attention, and developers suddenly pulled the plug on further development, polishing, and more features. But it is what it is — the game is really special in gameplay and feel, it is addictive and chill. World generation and terraforming are some of the best features, plus interesting and not overcomplicated logistics. The programming part is fun, like puzzle solving. I really like this even if it is limited in a lot of ways, but it adds to the puzzle-solving part. I want to thank the developers for this incredible special experience and beautiful vision in their game. And I hope for more updates and bug fixes, better in-game documentation, and then maybe we'll see some more sales and popularity for Icaria. Good luck to you, Blindsight Games!
I liked the idea. But the 'programming' of the drones is so confusing and things that seem like they should work just don't. After ten minutes in the game a drone just stopped assembling buildings I put down. It should just assemble when I hit the assemble button or 6 on my keyboard but just wouldn't. I could fly it around but it had no roles, no programming, nothing to block it. Just decided not to work. Hopefully these things can get fixed. I looked online for some help on this but there's barely any info except a video on how to do the text programming which I don't need from the devs. Do not buy for now.
