Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 10 → 4.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Awesome Music, Great Gameplay and really cool characters! Can recommend this to anybody who is willing to sink a lot of hours into a narrative driven game :)
Very solid life-sim with excellent art and music. The writing is good, but not spectacular, and the gameplay has a good amount to consider for making the most of your time (which is always essential, in my book). The characters are strong and each playthrough has a lot of meat to it, which is always nice to see. However, it does end up in something of an awkward middle-ground. Not so short that it can have a bunch of wildly diverging paths, but with enough divergence that doing just one playthrough feels incomplete. The card-based mechanics stay solid throughout, but they also mean that there are surprisingly few hard stat-tests (and so fewer options that need to be left for future runs). That's partially alleviated by the time-loopy meta-knowledge mechanic, but overall I don't think it hits the balance *quite* right for my tastes. Regardless, this is still one of the best games currently available in its genre. It's an easy recommend.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

During my first run through i absolutely fell in love with Dys, so of course i had to dedicate my life to him and at age 17 at 85 friendship HE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DISAPEARED! I was so distraught i had to listen to Laufey and wallow in my sorrow. 10/10 - killed both my parents, lost my man, and then became a professor.
It is perfect cozy game for me - gorgeous art style, beautiful music and pleasant gameplay. Writting is pretty solid, though some paths are clearly better than others. Worth my time and money (especially on sale).
I Was a Teenage Exocolonist potrafi uderzać w nas trudnymi wyborami i stawiać nas przed ciężkimi wydarzeniami. Dobrze miesza się to z uroczą tolerancją. Tematycznie gra przedstawia historię nastolatka żyjącego na kosmicznej kolonii (duh). Kierujemy rozwojem tej osoby w wieku 10 do 18. Doświadczamy więc zarówno problemów małej społeczności, w kolonii (polityki, chorób, obrony przed obcymi), jak i dojrzewania naszej postaci (szkolnych dram pierwszych miłości, dojrzewania). Gameplay to połączenie visual novelki, time managementu i karcianki. To polepsza nasze statystyki i daje nam nowe karty wspomnień.
This game makes me want to play on repeat over and over again. Pathing is fairly easy to understand, but not so obvious or boring that you don't want to do another run-through and make one of the other decisions. Overall, a really cool concept of replayability, and nice music!
This story is a surprisingly dense experience; my second playthrough felt meaningfully different from my first, and I think there's a good deal I still haven't uncovered. The characters start out as immature children, and grow over time (though how and whether they do so depends in part on how you engage with them). I think perhaps the best way I can express my review is through a text I sent to a friend: Currently obsessed with I Was a Teenage Exocolonist, which is more or less what it says on the box. Basically a visual novel/choose your own adventure style, living on an alien planet from ages 10-19. Surprisingly on-point for my life given the colony's survival is jeopardized by various disasters and people dying left and right. All your kid cohorts are either annoying, cloying, or boring, and yet somehow pretty likeable? My favorite is the cold, workaholic trans (-gender, -genic, -humanist, -etc.) girl who tolerates my presence because she recognizes my competence, and shows her affection by allowing me to assist with her studying/research. At one point she was lamenting the fact that she was stuck in a corporeal human body and I told her she was lovely just the way she was and she wasn't amused but later on she ultimately agreed to date me anyway after I walked through all the reasons it made sense and she agreed she was sort of intrigued. I do have a caveat to add to what would have otherwise been an unambiguously positive review. While the characters are generally very well-done, and there are limits to your agency in shaping the story (which is good and appropriate!), it didn't always feel (to me at least) that their character arcs from prologue to epilogue were either clearly telegraphed or fully coherent. The one that shattered my interest in fully plumbing this game's depth is best expressed in a later text to my friend after talking about some other stuff (some spoilers redacted): But, ugh, you said "tangentially related" ...
Her name is Tangent. And even my ice queen warmed up and
got compelling by the end. But then in the epilogue,
she spirals into depression, breaks up with me, crashes out at her job, and dies in her early 60s.
But the cool thing about the game is that it's a sort of time loop where you can replay and make different choices or accomplish things more easily with foreknowledge, producing different results, until you feel you've "lived your best life." I was all stoked and determined for another run, where I could figure out how to
stop her twin brother from vanishing and help her fix her relationship with him (which seemed more likely to improve her mental health than the alternative change of helping her succeed in creating a pathogen to genocide all native life forms on the planet). But I just found out that *no matter what you do*, she will *always* leave you and *always* die in her early 60s.
I am DEVASTATED I hate this game now what is the point of me trying to live again if my best life can't be lived??? :,-("
I cannot recommend this game enough. I don't want to provide any spoilers, but if you love exploration, narrative-driven games (and you don't mind or even love a card element), then this is the game for you. Every character has a story that's worth exploring, and even hundreds of hours in, I am still making new discoveries. If I could force everyone to play this game, I would.
