Runs well, and while the grind is key, its decent!

such a fun game⸝ good comedy⸝ amazing characters &. designs + the story is easy to follow and leveling up characters felt fun. the battles were actually a challenge. i finished the first 3 chapters awhile ago &. finished the whole game this past week.. i always looked forward to whats next in the story :›

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1, is hilarious, clever, and overall heartwarming. The battles are extremely fun and can be brutally difficult without properly gearing up and learning the systems. The story is truly remarkable. I recommend this game to the fullest for anyone invested in the games industry and the history of games and gamer culture. It is a perfect game in every way. The main story doesn't ask too much out of anyone and can be completed quickly, but to gather all achievements a deep understanding of the game's systems is necessary; and patience is vital. Originally I had casually completed the game in 2019 and quickly moved on to play other games in the series, but recently decided to embark on new game plus and earn the true ending which was even more fun than it was challenging, and yes it was challenging. The story is so cozy and lovely. I went over the top in the 40 hours I spent in NG+ to level every playable character to 999, unlock god items for my main party members, and even went on to unlock each world variation and obtain most regular items. I broke out a spreadsheet and my browser history is full of wiki pages if that tells you how I am still standing and full of adornment. I have all DLC for the game which makes the grind as fun as it possibly can be. I may want to go back soon for a third playthrough to use only the sisters and obtain god gear for each playable character now that I'm extremely overpowered. If I do go back my playtime will be over 82.5hrs at the time of starting that playthrough. The only other things to do on a 3rd play would be unlocking every cosmetic item and completing every quest and guild request, but most of all just to enjoy the game again. After obtaining all the achievements in this run I'm not only impressed by what IF and Compa have achieved with the game, but am filled with excitement and drive to revisit other games in both this series and others to 100% complete them too. I own a lot of games from IF so I'm setting myself up for quite a task, but I just adore their work. Huge kudos to Idea Factory, Compile Heart, and Felistella for this series. Love and respect.
