Beautiful 2D top-down pixel game. A title that was ahead of its times. The SFX/music and art direction are top-notch for this retro-style RPG. Some levels and bosses were very challenging but not unfair, but the game felt better and better as I got used to the animation lock and cooldowns. The Drifter upgrades felt marginal and more like a QoL rather than game-altering boosts, but that's ok. My only complaint is that I wish there was more. Final verdict: 9/10
