First impression- cool game loop, will keep playing. Feels like it's missing some mechanics and polish, but I have faith. :)
had a rough start but what game doesn't it's a fun game but BUT i wish they would do something about being staggered if you get staggered with a few monsters say goodbye to your run and don't get me started when a boss or mini boss does it if they were to tweak the stagger down it would get a 10/10 in my book.

Excellent gameplay mechanics and a cohesive world design that expands upon the first game (Hyper Light Drifter). I really enjoy the color palette of this world, it creates such a unique experience. Also, the character designs are so recognizable and iconic for the series. I can't wait for the full release!
Fun
Game is really fun, although the wall jump is a little clunky. Seems like it has a lot of potential. EDIT: Game was fun, but development got cancelled after mass layoffs from the company. DO NOT BUY!
Really enjoy it solo. Glad they're adding so much content.
Un jeu en évolution constante qui mérite un plus large public. Les dév sont a l'écoute de la communauté, et savent ce qu'ils font.
I like this game, enemies are a bit too fast for me to parry, or maybe its them getting to hit off screen so much, Give me a bigger parry window, even just slightly, i should see a flash until i need to actually hit parry. Basically I want parry to be as fun as dodging, or give me at least a few hp for dodging perfectly. Sword special just give me invul while its active, most times you just get stomped on. Give more ways to get health. Let me adjust target lock to sticky so it doesn't switch off and swings my camera toward it ( that's a big one for me ). I want more stuff to carry over from runs, even failed ones.
combat feels awesome! a lot of the HLD gamefeel, some ROR2-like aspects to the movement a bit rough around the edges, enemies are pretty glitchy the combat and progression is fun! i wish there was more content. it's kinda barebones.
Genuinely enjoying this game a lot...I'm going into this blind; was a gift from a sibling, and I haven't played the first game, so I don't really understand the criticisms of the genre shift but I will say I'm pretty enthusiastic about where the game is headed now and I'm looking forward to the full release. :)
