Don't sleep on the noodle shop. Love this game.
Has some bugs, but it's fun. I'm looking forward to what future updates will have :D
game is very fun although combat can be harsh and unforgiving if solo. music and environment are an absolute vibe. progression feels meaningful and not overly grindy. definitely recommend picking up especially if on sale

Big fan of the original game and big fan of this one. Definitely a tad bit rough around the edges, but the progression feels awesome. Each of the characters feel unique and cater to some very interesting play styles. This game is 100% better and easier with a friend. However, this game isn't super well optimized and a couple of the bosses are a tad lack luster. But for an early access it is a great foundation to what I hope is going to be a very highly re playable game
Firstly I understand why people would give this game a negative review. With a Name like HYPER LIGHT attached to it, you'd come in with the thought of it being like Hyper Light Drifter. THIS ISN'T THAT GAME! It's honestly a great game, better bones then most Rogue Likes. I'm excited to see where this games goes, and what characters are added down the line. CONS: The frame rate is all over the place, you get massive dips in performance. Not a ton of graphic settings, let me set a framerate cap, so this game isn't trying to run at 200+ fps all the time. The World can feel empty at points, more and a wider selection of points of interest would be great. Aiming and moving around has this weird problem where if you go over the slightest edge it snaps you out of it, and it's pretty jarring. New Breaker's hair model on the left side, once you see it. If you are on the fence about it, wouldn't hurt to pick up to help support the devs, early access is better then just a preorder.
I like it. Maybe more ways to get stronger? I feel like early on its very hard to do anything and survive.
An amazing game. I enjoyed every second of the experience. I finished it in a little over 4 hours, but nonetheless has so much potential to be one of my favorite games EVER. It combines game mechanics I am overly familiar with and creates an entirely new and unique product. It has a combat system similar to Sekiro or maybe Khazan, similar design and feel to risk of rain, it also shares similarities to games like BOTW and the more controversial Genshin Impact. All games I truly enjoyed the past few years - taking all my favorite components and packing them into a neat little package. The lock on system could do some work, I pretty much never used it, parrying doesn't really feel rewarding when used in hordes, I mostly spammed dash, I wish the combat could be more nuanced, instead of just a whole lot of hack and slash and a little bit of animation canceling with the flash step, and obviously there are glaring optimization issues. The game is indeed pretty, but I refuse to believe that it warrants my entire PC to be on fire only to be hitting 80-120 fps most of the time. At the time of reviewing I'd give this game a solid 7/10. Could definitely use some work but the framework is very solid, although lean.
If i use a syringe its only +75? but if i bring my teammate back they come back full health? just thought I'd say something, great game though
Really impressed with the progress they’ve made since initial release. Excited for this to be a fully realized game and think with the right amount of content it could really sustain for a long time.
