About

The world’s gone to hell, gangs run wild, and one bounty hunter keeps coming back. Hunt, die, upgrade, repeat in this explosive roguelite prequel to Huntdown where John Sawyer forges himself into a cybernetic legend.

Fast, violent run-and-gun action ripped straight from VHS-era blockbusters. Tight controls meet brutal firefights in a roguelite loop designed for pure adrenaline. Collect bounties and survive as long as you can. When you finally go down, Tony drags you back to his operating table and rebuilds you stronger.
Every run pushes you deeper into dangerous gang turf - from neon-soaked city streets to desolate wastelands. Choose your path, lock in on your targets, and adapt on the fly. Each death teaches you the patterns, each resurrection makes you deadlier. This is John Sawyer’s origin story: the transformation from man to cybernetic legend.

Crank up the heat with a powerful arsenal of firearms, melee weapons and tactical gear. And if heat isn’t your thing, go for a cryomod and let an electric baton do the rest.
Discover cybernetic upgrades and weapon licenses buried in enemy territory. Make your upgrades permanent by unlocking them between runs and reshape how Sawyer fights. Reinforced limbs and experimental combat mods - hundreds of combinations to forge Sawyer into the killing machine that fits your style.
Each run offers fresh opportunities. Bank your earnings, invest in permanent enhancements, then jump back in with new capabilities. Adapt your approach: go loud with heavy firepower or slice through with bladed brutality. The city’s scum won’t know what hit them.

Meticulous pixel art meets modern lighting in a stunning collision of retro craft and contemporary technique. This is pure early-80s B-movie aesthetics - bold reds on deep black and explosive contrasts. No pretty neon nostalgia, just VHS-era swagger.

I loved the original Huntdown, to me that game is PERFECT! This thing is most certainly not a sequel of that perfect game. They took the awesome art style, game mechanics, cool music, superb bosses, and turned it into a tedious roguelike experience. The grind here to have any sort of fun is INSANE!! GIVE ME MORE HUNTDOWN, and WAY LESS roguelike!! I really wish developers erased the word "roguelike" from their vocabulary.
I LOVE the first Huntdown!!! I love everything surrounding the sequel, but the roguelike mechanics kinda SUCK compared to most rougelike I've played. PROS -same visceral, fast paced gameplay from the first Huntdown -Lots of weapons and mods to upgrade them -cyberpunk ascetic and music of the world are still super cool! CONS -I dont mind rougelikes, but the mechanics in this suck -no checkpoint between areas -second stage (wasteland hillbilly stage) provide NO HEALT RECOURCSES AT ALL ONLY WEAPONS.....WTF -enemies hit for way too much damage -mainframe upgrade have no impact and feel useless ( throwing crates and cars...really?) overall this game is really fun, in a setting and world that i absolutely love. but the rougelike mechanics as a whole really need to be thought out to mesh better with gameplay, and provide the player with some meaning of progression beyond keeping weapons that you have no control over what gets spawned, killing expression and freedom. eventually the grind gets boring and theirs a obvious wall made in the second stage to slow players down while you develop in early access. the enemies hit for like 20-25% which makes no sense besides to artificially brink wall my progress along with providing zero health resources after area 1. fix that plz. a deff must buy after the janky rougelike elements are fixed or smoothed out!
Где coop режим ?
It took me frustrated 4.5 hours to beat the first boss... Needs a difficulty slider for people with skill issues or faster upgrades. But good job on the gameplay, setting, humor and music! I wouldn´t have tried for so long otherwise. The most important thing: It needs local coop like the first one!
I WANT MOOOOOOOORE!!!
A gory, hilarious love letter to 80s cyberpulp—but this isn’t Frank Miller’s gang-infested concrete jungle, it’s Paul Verhoeven’s. There’s a sly, impish commentary underlying all the over-the-top violence and pithy zingers that makes this feel more relevant than mere pastiche. It’s superb. The punk’s back in cyberpunk, baybeee.
Game isn't finished as of this post (its about 10 hours of playtime to complete all the content easily), but has some great core mechanics, feel and gameplay loop gimmicks. Really hope this gets finished and another few chapters and endgame content are added.
