About

A zombie outbreak wiped out civilization as we know it. Hordes of zeeks gnawed their way to the top, becoming the world’s apex predator. Regular humans are now an endangered species, with isolated pockets struggling to survive in this new, unforgiving world.
Welcome to HumanitZ, an isometric, open-world, sandbox survival game, where you can try to make a difference and put humanity back where it belongs - at the top of the food chain.
Will you gamble on cities and scavenge loot, knowing hordes of zeeks might be around the corner? Or do you try to survive off the land in the country, through hunting, fishing, and farming?

A vast, cruel world stretches from untamed wilderness to dense urban cities, with each location offering resources and risk. Exploration is rarely safe and never predictable as you face infected wildlife, zeek hordes, and hostile survivors roaming the landscape. Drivable vehicles become essential tools for survival, allowing you to cross dangerous territory, haul supplies, carry companions, and push farther into hostile environments. Will you find aid and trade at survivor camps, or violent confrontation as you take over enemy bandit bases?
If the infected and other survivors aren’t enough, hunger, exposure, and a dynamic weather system constantly threaten your chances of making it through another day. For those willing to keep moving forward when others stop, the path leads to The Island, and the truth behind the outbreak and its terrors left undiscovered.
Pick through the ruins of the old world and scavenge resources to survive, or retreat to the hills to avoid the shambling remnants of humanity. Set up a farm, forage, hunt wildlife, or fish to sustain yourself. Each choice can mean the difference between lasting another day or becoming part of the ruins.
Survive your way. Play solo, cooperatively, or online in PvE and PvP modes with dedicated servers and proximity voice chat. Whether you face the apocalypse alone or with friends watching your back, the choice is yours. In a desolate world, even solo survivors learn quickly that befriending a dog or horse companion can mean the difference between life and death.
Design your chosen survivor with professions, afflictions, and a skill-tree system. Then outfit your survivor with a plethora of weaponry and gear that shape how you endure the apocalypse.
Use an extensive crafting and building system to create what you need to survive, from gear and consumables to vehicles. Craft and customize weapons with attachments and modifications to survive relentless threats and hunt game. Upgrade vehicles with armor, weapons, and storage capacity to adapt to the risks ahead.
Then construct a safe house, fortify your base against threats using defensive structures like electrified fences and concrete barricades, or reclaim a burned-out house as a new place to live.
Not all zeeks are slow and stupid. Adapt and improvise against numerous zeek variants, or you'll risk becoming zombie fodder. Customize your game sessions using extensive game-altering settings, or push yourself further by enabling Permadeath Mode if you dare.

not bad
An amazing game would love if it got some farming update in for pigs for meat and so on but love the game
UNFINISHED - LOSS OF PROGRESS - BAD TRANSLATIONS - Too bad I can't get my money back. 2/10
Some of the most frustrating controls I've ever experienced in any game ever. Feels like KBM was an afterthought, and controller isn't much better. Just not worth the constant frustrations for a paper thin story and repetitive gameplay with weapons that break every 2 minutes.
There's two reasons why you might be interested in humanitz: 1- Like any normal, sane person, you like zombie games 2- You played the utterly trash zombie game, project zomboid, and are looking for a better alternative Regarding 1, you'll definitely like this game. Not much else to say. A complete experience, not really deep, but complete. Humanitz is a 3rd person, fully 3d zombie survival game with rpg elements that allows on-the-fly savegame configuration, with a main storyline. It has nice mechanics and good gameplay, and requires juggling resources and scavenging and building. There are a few quality of life mods out there, but they're not really necessary unless you want to some depth to the building system, basically to facilitate the game. Regarding 2, PZ is unfinished garbage, that's literally unplayable without dozens of mods, and still, the only thing that is beter at, is depth. Definitely the key difference, that. Sure it feels cool to have to micromanage the character sheet... but that's all there is, since the RPG aspect is ways more developed, but the ridiculous shortcomings of the base version, are simply unacceptable, when you can play this as an alternative. Because Humanitz is simply a better zombie surival rpg base game, that also works very well as a zombie survival sandbox. Want to play in a world where there'z hundreds of zombies everywhere you turn, and zombies respawn every day? Ok. Want to spawn all the zombies once, and never see them again? Ok. Same for resources, allies, companions, resources... etc. It doesn't disappoint.

One of the best zombie survival games out there! especially after all the updates. Some call it a modern Project zomboid but its way ahead of that. The camera/controls are much easier to use. The graphics are good. Combat is fun and challenging. Pve is fun. There are cars/horses/dogs to help you and skills to pick from. try it! its only getting better
