HumanitZ is an isometric, open-world sandbox survival game set in a world ended by a zombie outbreak. Survive alone or with friends by scavenging, crafting, building, and fighting to last as long as ‘humanly’ possible. You can’t change the past, but you can fight for the future of humanity.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11/day in the week to Aug 22 → 15.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

A zombie outbreak wiped out civilization as we know it. Hordes of zeeks gnawed their way to the top, becoming the world’s apex predator. Regular humans are now an endangered species, with isolated pockets struggling to survive in this new, unforgiving world.
Welcome to HumanitZ, an isometric, open-world, sandbox survival game, where you can try to make a difference and put humanity back where it belongs - at the top of the food chain.
Will you gamble on cities and scavenge loot, knowing hordes of zeeks might be around the corner? Or do you try to survive off the land in the country, through hunting, fishing, and farming?

A vast, cruel world stretches from untamed wilderness to dense urban cities, with each location offering resources and risk. Exploration is rarely safe and never predictable as you face infected wildlife, zeek hordes, and hostile survivors roaming the landscape. Drivable vehicles become essential tools for survival, allowing you to cross dangerous territory, haul supplies, carry companions, and push farther into hostile environments. Will you find aid and trade at survivor camps, or violent confrontation as you take over enemy bandit bases?
If the infected and other survivors aren’t enough, hunger, exposure, and a dynamic weather system constantly threaten your chances of making it through another day. For those willing to keep moving forward when others stop, the path leads to The Island, and the truth behind the outbreak and its terrors left undiscovered.
Pick through the ruins of the old world and scavenge resources to survive, or retreat to the hills to avoid the shambling remnants of humanity. Set up a farm, forage, hunt wildlife, or fish to sustain yourself. Each choice can mean the difference between lasting another day or becoming part of the ruins.
Survive your way. Play solo, cooperatively, or online in PvE and PvP modes with dedicated servers and proximity voice chat. Whether you face the apocalypse alone or with friends watching your back, the choice is yours. In a desolate world, even solo survivors learn quickly that befriending a dog or horse companion can mean the difference between life and death.
Design your chosen survivor with professions, afflictions, and a skill-tree system. Then outfit your survivor with a plethora of weaponry and gear that shape how you endure the apocalypse.
Use an extensive crafting and building system to create what you need to survive, from gear and consumables to vehicles. Craft and customize weapons with attachments and modifications to survive relentless threats and hunt game. Upgrade vehicles with armor, weapons, and storage capacity to adapt to the risks ahead.
Then construct a safe house, fortify your base against threats using defensive structures like electrified fences and concrete barricades, or reclaim a burned-out house as a new place to live.
Not all zeeks are slow and stupid. Adapt and improvise against numerous zeek variants, or you'll risk becoming zombie fodder. Customize your game sessions using extensive game-altering settings, or push yourself further by enabling Permadeath Mode if you dare.
Sums Steam only; Epic publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Fun exploration with quite a few jump scares, shattering glass or gunshots makes me jump in my chair almost every time! I've enjoyed exploring the map and collecting stuff need bigger bags and more carry weight, always having to decide which item is more important! I barely got into the quests at first because it was just so cool seeing where things were; looking for parts to repair a car or fashion a saddle, find food, etc. Once I started the quests it added more story to the basic survival and exploration. I dont particularly care for the delay between quests "check back later", so I have to kill time (or zombies) before they will give me the next step of the quest. Just tell me already! but overall really enjoying the game, especially once I discovered Bunkers and toxic zones. extra level of nerves!

Interesting game, fun survival game.
A rough start, but turned into a positive experience.

TIP: Disable Steam Cloud to avoid save issues.

Initially, I left a negative review out of pure frustration after losing an 11-hour save due to a sync bug. However, I understand that developing a game is not easy, so I decided to give it a second chance and dive deep into the mechanics. Now it's only fair that this game gets a proper review. Once I got past that initial technical hiccup and secured my local saves, I was able to start enjoying the game (again) and see more than I had seen previously.
The Gameplay & Survival Mechanics
Let's start with the premise that the gameplay experience varies depending on where you choose to spawn, the difficulty, and the fact that world items are randomly generated. Where you previously found a gun, you might now find a fork instead. The game itself has excellent survival mechanics:

The Basics: Hunger, thirst, and sleep.
The Extremes: Food poisoning, bite infections, bleeding, heat, cold, etc.
I noticed many realistic elements; for example, if you break into a house by punching a window, there's a chance it can cause bleeding and fairly significant damage. Even the zombie behavior responds very well to your playstyle. Making noise at night, running, or leaving your flashlight on drastically increases the chances of being found.
Combat System
The combat system, although a bit clunky at times, is still enjoyable and offers the right amount of challenge. The detail I really like is that you can't be the typical action hero and slaughter hordes of zombies alone. Instead, sometimes retreating will be the wisest choice.
Areas for Improvement
There are a couple of small details I didn't like:

Even though the game aims for realism, you are forced to extract water from a toilet bowl using bottles or canteens; you can't drink directly from it or use a temporary cup.
The spoilage system for food and liquids is well set up, but you won't be notified when they are close to going bad. It would be useful to have a percentage or some visual hints for food that is starting to rot.

Final Thoughts
Last but not least, the ability to create your own custom difficulty is something I truly loved! Overall, the game is highly enjoyable. Just remember to keep Steam Cloud disabled before starting your adventure. A quick heads-up: The game is a sandbox, meaning there won't be a tutorial to guide your first steps. There are objectives to complete, but the game already assumes you are in survival mode, so be careful not to get too caught up trying to complete them thinking it's a tutorial.

Great game, nice graphics, huge landscape where you can spend days exploring the land, build bases, fight zombies etc. I read some negative comments about multiplayer banning, but as I play the single player campaign, I had no issues nor bugs and enjoy it.
Wonderful Game.
