good game but very little content. not worth the $10 it is. although if there was an update or a sequal i would spend to get that. overall, fairly high quality, too high of a price, alright 18+ content.
House of Lust is a deliberately provocative indie title that blends erotic fantasy with light survival-horror sensibilities, creating an experience that is as much about atmosphere and temptation as it is about exploration and puzzle solving. Developed by FrozenLettuce and published by Shady Corner Games, the game makes no attempt to disguise its adult focus. Instead, it fully embraces its identity as a mature experience, using explicit themes and stylized pixel art to set itself apart from more conventional horror or adventure games on Steam. The premise places the player inside a strange, isolated mansion inhabited by alluring yet dangerous supernatural beings. At a glance, the setting echoes classic survival horror structures: a confined environment, interconnected rooms, locked doors, and the need to carefully explore while piecing together how to progress. However, House of Lust quickly subverts expectations by tying its core tension not just to fear, but to desire. The mansion is not merely hostile; it is seductive, and the game’s mechanics reinforce the idea that giving in to temptation can weaken the player and increase vulnerability. Gameplay centers on exploration, environmental interaction, and simple puzzle solving. Players move cautiously through the mansion, collecting items, unlocking pathways, and learning how different areas connect. There is no complex combat system; instead, survival depends on awareness, positioning, and understanding how the game’s erotic mechanics affect your character’s condition. Encounters with the mansion’s inhabitants often function less like traditional enemy confrontations and more like tests of restraint, where attraction itself becomes a risk factor. One of the most distinctive aspects of House of Lust is how tightly its adult content is woven into its design. Erotic scenes, suggestive animations, and lewd environmental details are not optional side content but a central part of the experience. The pixel art style is expressive and carefully animated, clearly crafted to appeal to fans of adult retro aesthetics. While the visuals lean heavily into eroticism, they also maintain a consistent horror-tinged mood, blending sensual imagery with darker tones to create an atmosphere that feels unsettling as well as alluring. The mansion itself is designed to feel oppressive despite its visual appeal. Dim lighting, narrow corridors, and ominous rooms help maintain tension, reminding the player that danger is always close. Sound design plays a supporting role, using ambient noise and subtle audio cues to reinforce the sense that the environment is alive and watching. While the overall scope of the game is limited, these atmospheric elements help give the mansion a distinct personality and keep exploration engaging. In terms of pacing and length, House of Lust is a relatively short experience. Most playthroughs can be completed in a single sitting, with limited mechanical depth beyond the core exploration and erotic encounter loop. This brevity works in its favor by preventing the concept from becoming overstretched, but it also means replay value depends largely on the player’s interest in revisiting scenes or absorbing the atmosphere again rather than discovering radically different gameplay paths. Technically, the game reflects its indie scale. Controls and interactions are simple and functional, though not especially refined. The focus is clearly on presentation and theme rather than mechanical polish. For players accustomed to more complex survival horror systems, the gameplay may feel light or even shallow, but that simplicity allows the erotic and atmospheric elements to remain front and center. Ultimately, House of Lust is a niche experience designed for a specific audience. It does not aim to appeal broadly or to compete with mainstream horror titles. Instead, it offers a bold fusion of erotic content and horror-inspired exploration that commits fully to its concept. For players interested in adult-oriented indie games that experiment with genre boundaries and use desire as a core mechanic, it delivers a brief but distinctive journey. For those outside that niche, its heavy thematic focus and limited gameplay depth may feel restrictive, but within its intended scope, House of Lust succeeds by confidently embracing exactly what it sets out to be. Rating: 7/10
A nice short pixel art eroge with horror leanings. It can be a bit of a pain in the ass to get running, but it eventually did, and it was a fun time. Almost all of the erotic content is breast focused, ranging from silly large but still anime erotic, to kind absurd and impractical meat bags to just literal giantess ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. While on the short side, this is a great buy for a half off sale, though the quality of the pixel art definitely adds a lot of value (and the fact it has an unlock all acts button in the gallery. Praise be to the developer for including that, as too many eroge I've tried lately want you to constantly replay in the hopes of getting what you missed, instead of respecting my time and just letting me unlock all once I've beat it.)
Gameplay is basic, which isn't a bad thing. Simple 2D sidescroller with puzzles that a child could solve without thinking. Most of the game is running from monsters and hiding in a wardrobe. Additional monsters are added as you progress, but with the frequent access to full-heals from the save points scattered about the map, it's often easier to let the monsters get you and move on, as most monsters only take away one of three life stages. Animations are good enough, but even on a large screen are so small that you can barely see what's happening and just have to assume based upon the sound effects. Animations are also super quick, so if you're playing this game for "that reason," then you'll never have time to enjoy yourself. There is also a major emphasis on female chests, so if that's not your hyper-specific thing, then you'll be disappointed. Overall not a bad game, but it fits a very specific niche and if you aren't interested in that very specific niche, then this game isn't for you. Finished the game in just over an hour, which is an incredibly short run time, even considering that I got lost and wandered around looking for where to go next a few times. Did refund the game as I honestly just didn't have fun playing it. This game is *good enough* for some people, but I wanted and expected more. I recommend reading reviews and checking screenshots/gameplay videos before buying so you know for certain if this game is something you're interested in.
It has alot of bugs to fix, and the english is broken and dialogue is hard to understand because it never indicates who is talking. I had a bug where the same 4 notes were respawning and trying to take them again instantly triggered a chase. I also got a bug where if I died during the last real chase and respawned, I came out in a different area of the house than I was supposed to be, making it much easier to get to the front door, though that also led to a glitch where it played out the "choose to leave" ending before playing out what I actually selected, only changing the dialogue text while still only showing the generic tree art, making me miss the good stuff. It also made it so that other monster girls spawned to chase me instead. There is also an issue where the dialogue for the "I can't do this now" text for doing things such as entering a closet during the last chase is still in japanese. I say it's a good game, but the english is rough and the game is awkward, so it needs some work
If you loved Drain Mansion, I'm sure you'll love this one too. To me, it's kinda the same mechanism where you go explore this place and try to escape. While escaping, you must try to solve puzzles. I really love this concept and I have been keeping a close eye on games like this. I will say though, I was a little disappointed when I finished the game. It was such a short game, I was expecting it to be like a long long game to complete. It does feel like it short cost a bit less due to this factor, but I mean, you can't just expect everything to turn out the way you have seen other games to be. Nevertheless, it was still fun solving the puzzles and escape. The artwork is nicely animated and running from monsters inside of the house was the most fun part as it added actions to it. If you exclude how short it is, I think you'll find it as fun.
short but fun, i love puzzles but some are really vague. 7/10
muito bom ter lançado o game completo parábens. It's great to have released the full game, congratulations.

Lots of titjobs, also the fox demon is incredibly hot
