Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is the brutal conclusion to the Hotline Miami saga, set against a backdrop of escalating violence and retribution over spilled blood in the original game.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 18.86/day in the week to Jul 30 → 19.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Man, the first game is an absolute 10/10, but this one dials the insanity up to 11 in ways that actually detract from the experience. Levels feel more open, with off-screen deaths a regular occurence. The story is more fragmented and based around several different (and mostly forgettable) characters that each have unique gimmicks in-game. One guy prefers to disarm people rather than kill them. Another is a dude with a chainsaw and his gun-wielding tag-along bro. There's an obigatory "woah you're all ♥♥♥♥♥♥ on drugs now!" level that feels like the hospital scene from the first game but more annoying. It's a solid first half, followed by a nosedive in quality towards the end. It throws out the "hard but fair" ethos of the first game in favour of something more frustrating with less freedom to experiment. I wish I loved it as much as the first game.
10/10 dont recommend
90% of the time you'll get killed by an offscreen enemy, the game is intended to be played loud and proud but not being able to see the enemies completely ruins this. Some levels you have to lure enemies towards you and this would be alright if the AI wasn't a complete coin flip on whether or not they saw you. Now what I've said so far is just the tip of the iceberg, the worst part about this game is the level design and doors. There are so many windows in levels that if feels like if you enter any room a swarm detects and overwhelms you. The doors are beyond janky and will eat 60% of your bullets, as well as knock enemies out when you try and kill them. Beyond all that are the fat enemies, bigger person, takes more than one bullet to kill, cant be killed by melee. Sounds fair right? Except for the fact that when they go down they have a death animation in which their hitbox is still active and eating ammo while you can still get shot at through their death animation by others. Only reason I still try progressing in the game is because my friend likes it. Overall 2/10

не ожидал что игра будет насколько долгой (и тяжеловатой) по сравнению с первой частью, однако все равно зашло
