Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is the brutal conclusion to the Hotline Miami saga, set against a backdrop of escalating violence and retribution over spilled blood in the original game.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 18.86/day in the week to Jul 30 → 19.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Nice game, more polished than the first. Soundtrack is fantastic

Hotline Miami 2 is an absolutely great game. In gameplay Its weaponplay is unique, its levels are well designed, and it allows for you to choose between characters before each level. Now, some of the characters are just reskins of eachother and don't really have truly unique mechanics which is something to note for sure but it doesn't allow for you to pick from every character so what can you really do? Its storytelling is also great, I haven't finished the game yet but I am pretty far into it. Nearing the end. However, I do have some issues with the game. For one its slightly buggy. Now this is less of an extreme problem. The bugs aren't game-breaking and most of them you can just pretty much ignore. But its still something to note. I wouldn't ignore the game over it though. Some of the levels feel kind of out of order? Not in story, but like, you'll beat one level and it will be the hardest thing you've ever experienced in your entire life but then next level will just be like 4 enemies with knives. Like its kind of crazy sometimes. But again, their well-designed so like, so be it. My main issue is with the end of the tutorial asks you to "rake" a woman. Now, I'm not one to hate games for being extreme, I couldn't care less most the time. But, from everything else I've experienced so far, that has literally never been a mechanic again. Maybe its the game trying to push boundries and show its not scared to get into topics like that? But then why would the game immediately lessen the blow by being like (SPOILERS) "Oh don't worry this whole thing is just a movie! None of its real anyways!". (END OF SPOILERS) Like this truly did not need to happen. Honestly, it just kind of felt like the devs wanted to do something, literally anything to be like "Yo this game is crazy and violent and extreme and only for big tough guys". I don't know. It doesn't exactly feel great to be tasked with raking someone. In fact it feels not great. It feels rather un-great if you ask me. Even if immediately after you go (SPOILERS) "Get pranked! It's all a movie, none of that happened!" (END OF SPOLIERS). Overall I would give this game a solid 8/10. Its definitely very fun however there are some issues. My main issue being with the tutorial. That was completely unnecessary. However it can be ignored.
