We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Great game to play to kill some time. Good amount of cars to collect and many tracks to play on. Can create your own tracks too and post them for online or local. Seems like online isn’t as active for this game but you might be able to find a lobby from time to time. Though it’s not a hard game, it does becomes a grind fest after a while when going for 100% and the rng for the creates (atleast for myself) kept getting the same cars over and over again. Once in a while may get something different. The DLC is a good addition but not at full price since it’s not a lot to do. I”ll say wait for a sale for all 3 dlc
I used to play with Hotwheels as a kid, does that give me "Unc Status"? Past that, is a solid game. Singleplayer is about +15hrs, maybe 20hrs for 100% of the base game. The tracks are alright, except for a few traps that are just trolls. Livery/Paintjob system is decent, though not many are getting made anymore since there's a 2nd game. If you're reading this deciding to buy the first or 2nd game, I'll just say that the 2nd has more systems to invest your time in, and the 1st lets you get to the action faster, and closer to a normal racing game than the 2nd. It's a good "Gamer's First Racing Game"

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 24: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Tiny racers fly Orange tracks defy the sky Speed sparks endless fun
Warm wheels pretty leashed™ - why? For starter, why the frick can't I inspect my cars in a 6DoF manner in a 2021 born video game that is based on one of the most influential collector cultures of all time? I wanna see the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ golden, chrome or shiny black belly of the beast I just collected, with fire engraved on it, damn it! Now for the ender, it's a good racing game, hence the recommendation, but as a man who grew up on the classics, such as Beat That! and Stunt Track Driver, it feels very dull and monotonous. The best way to put it is that it lacks the chaos and dorkiness that should entail the subject of grown men playing with and collecting flamboyantly colourful miniature models of automotives. Otherwise, it's just another racing sim or grid racer that's trying to deliver the experience of driving hypercars; Hot Wheels is definitely not that.
HOT WHEELS UNLEASHED™ is a vibrant and exhilarating racing game that brilliantly captures the spirit and nostalgia of the iconic Hot Wheels toy line while delivering a solid, modern arcade racing experience. Developed by Milestone, known for their expertise in racing titles, the game offers a delightful blend of fast-paced gameplay, imaginative track design, and a wide array of customizable vehicles. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Hot Wheels or simply enjoy fun, skill-based racing games, Hot Wheels Unleashed succeeds in bringing toy car racing to life with impressive polish and energy. One of the most striking features of the game is its incredible attention to detail in recreating the miniature Hot Wheels cars. Each vehicle is meticulously modeled, featuring authentic decals, paint jobs, and mechanical details that will thrill collectors and enthusiasts alike. The way the cars interact with the environment—skidding, jumping, and crashing—feels satisfyingly weighty and responsive, capturing the tactile fun of playing with actual toy cars. The garage and customization options allow players to personalize their vehicles with various paint schemes, wheel types, and decals, adding a layer of creativity and attachment to your collection. The tracks in Hot Wheels Unleashed are where the game truly shines, embracing the fantastical and imaginative spirit of the Hot Wheels brand. They are vibrant, fast, and packed with loops, jumps, sharp turns, and other thrilling elements that keep the races dynamic and exciting. The courses are often set in everyday environments turned colossal—kitchen counters, workshops, toy rooms—giving a playful sense of scale that enhances the joy of racing tiny cars at breakneck speeds. Track design is cleverly balanced to reward both skillful driving and daring stunts, with multiple routes and shortcuts encouraging exploration and mastery. Gameplay mechanics strike a great balance between accessibility and challenge. Controls are tight and intuitive, making it easy for newcomers to pick up and play, but there’s also enough depth in vehicle handling and track knowledge to satisfy more competitive players. The racing feels fast and fluid, with boosts and nitro mechanics adding strategic layers to when and how you push your car to the limit. The game also incorporates a well-designed physics system, where momentum and terrain impact your racing lines and stunts, demanding precise timing and reflexes for optimal performance. Multiplayer is a significant highlight, offering both online and local split-screen modes. The online experience is smooth, with ranked and casual matchmaking providing a good challenge for players looking to test their skills against others worldwide. Local multiplayer is a fantastic way to relive the classic couch-competitive feel, allowing friends and family to jump into the fun. The game also features a robust track editor that empowers players to create and share their own crazy Hot Wheels circuits, dramatically extending replayability and fostering a creative community around user-generated content. Visually, the game is bright, colorful, and lively, perfectly capturing the playful essence of the Hot Wheels brand. The environments are richly detailed and full of personality, while the lighting and particle effects—especially during boosts and crashes—add extra flair to the action. The soundtrack complements the fast-paced gameplay with an energetic mix of rock and electronic music, enhancing the overall adrenaline rush. Sound design also stands out, with satisfying engine roars, tire screeches, and environmental audio cues that immerse you further in the racing experience. While Hot Wheels Unleashed is largely a joy to play, it’s not without minor drawbacks. The single-player campaign, while fun, can feel a bit lightweight and repetitive after a while, lacking some of the depth and narrative hooks found in other racing titles. Some players might also find the AI opponents occasionally inconsistent, swinging between too easy and overly aggressive. Additionally, although the track editor is powerful, newcomers might face a learning curve when designing their own creations due to the complexity of the tools provided. In summary, HOT WHEELS UNLEASHED™ is an exciting and polished arcade racer that captures the magic of Hot Wheels toys while delivering fast, thrilling races filled with creative tracks and customizable cars. Its combination of tight controls, imaginative level design, and both local and online multiplayer options make it a standout choice for players seeking a fun and engaging racing experience. Whether you’re racing solo, battling friends, or designing your own tracks, the game offers countless hours of entertainment driven by speed, skill, and nostalgia. It’s a must-play for Hot Wheels fans and racing game enthusiasts alike. Rating: 8/10

I've been playing this game since 2021 on PS4, and with my total playtime being nearly 1615 Hours, plus the 91 Hours on PS5, and now the 206 Hours on PC (Equals to about.. 1900 hours), This is without a doubt one of my favorite racing games of all time! Gameplay is fantastic, the environments look great, it runs wonderfully, and most importantly, the roster of cars for its time was super impressive! Of the 70 cars at launch, there are tons of cars to drive, like the Twin Mill, RD-02, COPO Camaro and even the Batmobile! DLC wise, the Character Cars definitely were.. interesting (LOL), but everything else was great, especially the expansions! Of course, if I was to choose either the PC or PS5 version of the game, PC 100% for two words: Mod Support! Hot Wheels Unleashed has an amazing mod called Re-Ignited that not only balances EVERY car in the game to make them viable for the more hardcore racing enthusiasts, but also adds tons of Quality of Life improvements, such as an enhanced Track Builder, Livery Editor, and of course.. more cars!! PROS + Fantastic Gameplay! + Great Vehicle Roster! (Nearly 150+ Cars) + NO Microtransactions!! + Mod Support ❤️ (Re-Ignited) + Environments Look Great! + Track Builder is Really Good! + Livery Editor is Pretty Great! + Some FREE cars like Synkro, Rivited, and even the '56 Chevy Bel Air!! MIXED +/- Multiplayer is great, but it tends to desync and Private Lobbies glitch out after 1 race. +/- Collaborations are awesome, but there were definitely way too many Character Cars from DC. +/- Crossplay is available on PS and XBOX, not PC unfortunately. :( +/- City Rumble is a GREAT Single Player experience to start racing, though the game is pretty grindy to obtain and upgrade all the cars. CONS - Music is pretty lacking - Racing Season Vehicles are no longer obtainable - Multiplayer can and will desync, especially certain Track Modules Overall. the pros outweigh the cons, and I highly recommend the game, ESPECIALLY if it's on sale for $12 for the GOTY Edition! Hot Wheels Unleashed is an amazing game, and as it approaches it's 5th Anniversary while making this review, I am excited to see where this game goes in the future! Check out the Re-Ignited community for more info, and see you on the track! My Rating: 9/10 - Dragon-P
