Веселі, динамічні, візуально красиві аркадні перегони, які трохи нагадують TrackMania і картингові ігри, а також являються сіквелом до першої частини HotWheels із кількома відмінностями. Досить суттєвими, хоча всі зміни могли б легко подати у форматі оновлення чи нового сезону в оригіналі. Не являючись фаном і власником жодної машинки від HotWheels у реальному житті, гра, майже, змусила мене замислитись над купівлею окремих моделей. Я можу лише уявити, які відчуття викликаються у фанатів, колекціонерів і людей, чиє дитинство пройшло за побудовою треків і возюканнням із маленькими автомобільчиками. Кожна віртуальна іграшка максимально деталізована, із текстурою пластику й металу, переливанням кольорів. Купівля бажаної машинки – свято, бо в магазині не доступний одразу увесь асортимент, а лише кілька випадкових машинок, які оновлюються раз на 45 хвилин (або за доплату ігровою валютою), тож присутній елемент «полювання» на бажані рідкісні модельки. Візуал – і красивий, і дуже вайбовий. Викликає ностальгію за дитинством, якого не було: 80-ті-90-ті в Америці, центри із аркадними автоматами, вечір у кімнаті будинку, де граєшся новенькою моделькою HotWheels на побудованому з набору треку. Таких біомів тут декілька, а на них розміщуються різні траси. Музика хоч і непогана – електронна, але кількість треків дуже обмежена і може швидко набриднути. Гра має онлайн (його не чіпав, нічого не скажу) і самітній режим. Є кар’єра із різними заїздами, викликами, прогресією і дитячими коміксоподібними катсценами. Можна будувати власні треки, прокачувати авто, купляючи різні перки. Сама механіка перегонів мені дуже подобається. Прискорення, дрифт, стрибки, динамічні перешкоди – класика аркадного жанру. На складності «Hard» і вище, присутньо чимало виклику для некіберспортсмена. Із нових речей, у порівнянні з першою: додали кнопку стрибку, «дешу» вбік (можна таранити, вибивати ворогів або повертатись в польоті назад на пропущену траєкторію), новий режим заїзду «чекпоїнти», прокачку авто, мотоцикли, квадроцикли й інше дрібне, про що міг забути. Все цікаве, не філлерне. Як гравець офлайн – рекомендую. Брав звичайну версію без DLC, пройшов кар’єру із задоволенням. Дана частина грається плюс-мінус так само, як і оригінал, тому якщо сумніваєтесь – можете спробувати спершу її. А ще тут присутній спліт скрін режим.

As someone who's not a big racing game enjoyer besides the occasional mario kart with friends; I enjoyed this game overall. The cars are fun to drive and the mechanics are fun. Though the races do get repetitive over time while playing through the campaign and free DLC's. I played it excusivly on my steam deck and it worked great on it. It was enjoyable having my kid sit next to me and pick which car I would use for each race. Overall a great and fun game. But I would wait till it's on sale unless you are a true racing game enjoyer

good baby's first arcade racer (im baby) Could've used more music variety in races
Honestly, one of the best arcade racers ive played in years. As someone who heavily prefers arcade racers over sims, this game is exactly what I needed. Need for speed has been my go to racing franchise since the 90s, but with the current state of need for speed being in question, and just the general focus of the racing market shifting more towards sims, arcade lovers dont get as many great games as we used to. This game scratched my arcade itch perfectly.

Unplayable. Xbox series X controller disconnects every two minutes, never had a single problem with my controller until I downloaded this. Also, rubberbanding makes the game completely unenjoyable, it's not a challenge or fun, you can have the fastest car or bike going and some monster truck will overtake you after two minutes of nobody being behind you. I despise rubberbanding because it completely defeats the point of even having difficulty levels in the first place. If you're a fan of lazy game design then this game is for you, for me I'm getting a refund.
The controller settings mess up on two player mode and there is no fixing them apparently. This is the only game with the problems. This is a game that is supposed to be easy enough for my kids. I can't even fix the darn problem and I don't feel like going down a rabbit hold for a kids game. Uninstalled. Not buying your next game either.
