FAR too easy... Migh be cool for speedrunning or idk... It's not a bad game for kids I guess
Whoever made the cosmetics for this game went crazy. I unlock like 2 more pieces of clothing after each level. Anyway, this game is relaxing. The gameplay is fun. But the visuals are a dealbreaker for me, especially on the indoor levels. For example, arcade is the worst map in the game.. The visual style is cluttered and in some levels it's just too dark to see where to go next. This makes me turn up my brightness. Unfortunately, every time the player collects a crystal or falls into lava, the screen flashes brightly, which is obviously not great when your brightness is up. (I don't think there's an option to turn this off). They were trying too hard to make something distinguishable from the rest of the game and it just doesn't flow. The Klei maps (the last 4) are very good. They decided to prioritize map design and use minimalist scenery. Most of these levels are pretty, especially the beach level where you have to jump over the water. The pitfall of many of these levels is that they're too open and often feel the same: like jumping on platforms over and over. One exception to this is Harbor, which requires some movement through tight spaces and might be my favorite level in the game. I appreciate the amount of work that they put into designing the levels, but many of them just don't flow well. On the best maps, the difficulty slowly increases and you feel yourself getting better at the game, using movement boosts and air strafes to skip obstacles. This is where the game shines. I don't care about cosmetics, but I do care about how the game looks and feels. The devs should work on making levels that aren't too cluttered, slowly increase in complexity, and encourage the unique movement such as slide boosts and air strafes. Otherwise, I'd rather just play CSGO bhop maps.
