jogo é bem legalzinho pra passar um tempo, mas definitivamente nao vale mais de 10 reais
the top leaderboard racers are cheaters from mobile or other platforms. fkn disgusting. apparently they have more speed than u
It's a Trackmania clone. About the only thing I can praise it for is the art direction and customization. The cars look nice and the environments feel alive. Something that Trackmania fails at with how liminal feeling a lot of the environments there feel. While the customization aspect is neat, it is rather limiting. All you get is preset color choices with no option of using your own custom color set up. Any paint jobs or color combos you can use are locked away by either completing the maps or by grinding gold which is slow and tedious. Car handling feels weird where at times it feels grippy and predictable and others it feels delayed in terms of steering. It's sort of apparent in the drift model they have for the cars. Sense of speed is not great. It feels very slow in and out of boost despite the speedometer reading 400kmh. It really feels like you're only going 200kmh tops. Maybe slower. Sound design is not great. The soundtrack is generic modern EDM and the cars sound like they're revving too low for the speeds you go at in game. Each of the car designs don't have unique sounds to them either and reuse the same sound per environment type. You're better off getting any other Trackmania title over this. It's a shame, because the art direction the game has screams something of a modern 90s styled arcade racer akin to Daytona USA or SCUD Race / Sega Super GT. It's just disappointing that its relegated to a Trackmania clone that's mediocre in execution.
This is not a Track Mania type game.
Hot Lap League is the skeleton of something that could be great but without any of the true aspects to push it beyond that limit, leaving just hollow disappointment. At it's barest bones, it is nothing more that a time trial grind game that has been frequently compare to games like Track Mania. Mechanically, driving feels excellent, consistent, and perfectly deterministic. The same inputs in will always result in the same racing line. The track's assembly system on the front end has no geometry issues and every track has an optimal line. You can have fun racing through every track and pushing your time higher, honing your skill, but after that, there's nothing left. This game constantly and wrongly gets compared to the Track Mania series, specifically the Nations games (ESWC and Nations Forever) but those games had one thing this game sorely lacks and such a huge missed opportunity of wasted potential: A track editor The track editors of Track Mania are what MADE those games such long mainstays, fostering communities of creatives to create the most depth defying, roller coaster-ing, technical, and spectacular tracks of any racing game with a tile grid based system of interlocking parts. This gave all the Trackmania Games infinite replay value as the community could build, share, and compete of tracks of the players designs. The framework of such a system is visible in the track design of this game, but nothing of the sort has been implemented. Once you beat all 150 tracks, once you get times to satisfy the rewards you want, there's nothing else left. No incentive to keep playing beyond cheap daily challenges and un-engaging tournaments. No additional tracks come down the pipeline, no true creator content to engage players, not even a rivals system. This is NOT a Track Mania clone. This game is the equivalent of a early gen mobile game devoid of Micro Transactions, or a Flash Game with a fixed number of levels. Once you experience the start to end, that's all there is. I wish there was more to it, because the driving is really really solid.
4/10
It feels like trackmania but the mechanics for drifting are alot of fun, But I wish it was more than just time trials against ghosts I give this game a 7/10 cause it has promise but lacks variety of game modes and PVP
