The idea is nice but the game is just not finished yet. The textures on the second(!) level already ♥♥♥♥ up. Dont give these idiots any money.

С самого начала игры у вас есть иллюзорный выбор в расправе с маньяком, но не тут-то было! Нужно привести в действие АБСОЛЮТНО все ловушки на локации. Помимо прочего с ИИ что-то из ряда вон выходящее: то маньяк тебя не видит, когда ты пробегаешь мимо него, то видит тебя за пол карты и бежит с распростёртыми объятиями даже тогда, когда не задеваешь никаких предметов и ведёшь себя тише воды, ниже травы. Задумка у игры хорошая, но реализации разработчик зарядил по ногам арматурой и она не хромает, а ползёт. Куда? А кто её знает...

Horror Stories is a mediocre time-killer puzzle game. It's interesting concept and potential were ruined by a cheap and rough realization. Gameplay wise, it's a poor man's Dead by Daylight. Avoiding and hiding from a killer, you need to set up traps to kill him. Extremely primitive and repetitive, you are basically capable of doing only two things which are hiding in closets and setting up traps. Zero new mechanics are being implemented throughout the game, you've seen the whole game if you've completed the first level. Moreover, some of them are even being removed, lol. There's no backstory in the game, all the levels are just different horror story settings. You'll encounter 4 different settings throughout 16 levels. Though they could've had different unique mechanics, they don't. All the levels are basically the same, all the killers are reskins of one enemy capable of nothing but patrolling a location. The AI of killers is both terrible and unfair at the same time. Sometimes they won't spot you right in front of their face, the other time they will literally see you through the walls. Once you've been spotted, it's game over. No possibilities to escape the chase, to hide or do anything, they're basically locked on you and constantly see you through the walls, they'll chase you till death. Graphics wise, it's terrible. Though I'm unpretentious in this aspect and would appreciate even MS Paint graphics if it had been done tidy, even I don't like it. The walls' textures are jaggy, some textures are quite sharp, the others are of 240p quality. Moreover, they're of different visual style as if they were taken from different sources. In conclusion, it doesn't worth even it's low price, even on discount. You should waste neither your money, nor time.

I wanted to like this game because the idea of trying to hide from a killer while setting traps for them sounds great. But man, this is so badly put together that I gave up after the third level because of how unfairly it was designed. The game expects you to place a trap (which takes ten seconds) and pray that the killer doesn't decide to change his pattern and catch you. Not helping either is the killer's AI goes between "stand right beside the killer and be safe" stupid to "the killer can see through the walls" smart. I would not recommend this, even at the low price they're asking for.

Not fair game-design. AI can see you through walls or cant see you in a close range. Game feels unfinished. Bought on discount and still refunded.

El juego si que es un horror.

As the goat of gaming and an Avid DBD FAN, I HAD TO COMPARE BETWEEN THE GAMES, IT'S CLEAR HORROR STORIES IS TRAILBLAZING THE INDUSTRY. I FOUND MATCHES AGAINST THE KILLER TO BE FAR MORE FAIR AND THE KILLERS I PLAYED AGAINST WERE THE BEST AND WEREN'T TOXIC, THEY WERE ALL BUBBAS THOUGH. ULTIMATELY AS THE GOAT OF THE GAMING I HAVE TO GIVE THIS GAME A SOLID 68/100. I FELT THE GAME WAS TOO EASY HOPEFULLY THE DEV MAKES HORROR STORIES 2!!!!!!

Good Game

I love this homemade Dead by Daylight game. It will make you mad just as DBD too, so I highly recommend it.

I think that 3ds port is better and game is more likely to work better on that system, but because 3ds e-shop is closing soon I decided to buy pc version. Even tho the textures sometimes are blurry game is just as fun. puzzle is really great and maybe i'll hack my 3ds to play this on the go. :3
