13 minutes in and I have gotten nowhere. I figured it was hard, hearing about on the Remap podcast and Patrick Klepek's struggles with it. Did not expect this. I need a break for something easier and relaxing, like parrying bosses in Expedition 33 on hard mode... Damn you Patrick! <3

This game plays really well. Consistent, fair parkour and simple, responsive movement. The skill progression is very natural and rewarding, pairing well with the game's difficulty balancing. It keeps things interesting throughout the whole game with a variety of jumps and different gimmicks. There's lots of good level design that's equally as punishing as it is clever. It also has a lot of replay value with secrets, different endings, and speedrunning potential. The music and visuals aren't the most complex, but work great together to create a cool and fitting atmosphere. The story, although not the most fleshed out, is still very charming and cute. All in all, a very well rounded game that is absolutely worth $5. With that said, there are still a few things that I would like to see in the game: Making the intro skippable and/or have a quick reset key for speedrunning. An option for a more precise timer, also for speedrunning. I wish the snake-looking things weren't completely invisible, instead having a subtle tell or something of that sort. While not necessary, some postgame content would also be cool.

This is the most emotional heartwrenching story ever told in gaming history- no, fictional history- no, ANY HISTORY EVER. You will feel the pain and commitment a gay frog with a gun has. Hop could solo any universe.

Just got to 4th level and took me nearly 2 hours. Hate this game but in ways that I love 10/10 Edit: Finally beat this game. 10/10 nothing will beat this feeling for a long time!
