Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Aug 26 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I am disappointed that Homeworld Remastered Collection doesn't come bundled with a demo of Pharaoh: A New Era
I enjoyed this game. I never played the games when they came out (the 3D aspect intimidated me) but I was curious about their reputation for excellence and picked the remaster up on sale. I don't remember what the full price is, but I enjoyed dozens of hours of game play for a very low price, which makes this a very cost-effective game even for someone that doesn't go into multiplayer. While the game design shows a bit of age from being almost thirty years, the game play is still a lot of fun and the games' innovations are still interesting, with concepts like unit and resource persistence (as well as the finite amount of resources) adding a fun and interesting wrinkles to game play. Sometimes, I had to replay missions that I had won because I had won them at too great a cost for success in future missions to be viable. At a more tactical level, the game lands in an interesting space between small unit tactics and larger strategy. Individual units, particularly those deploy in squadrons (i.e., fighters and corvettes) are too numerous and difficult to micromanage to play Homeworld as a tactical game and I usually found that victory relied more on having a larger quantity of better or more effective ships than how I handled them. At the same time, I still had to pay attention to how I handled my ships, because neglecting micromanagement altogether can lead to irrecoverable losses of ships and resources pretty quickly. This puts the game in a fun middle space between the small unit tactical games and the more strategically oriented games with larger unit pools.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Played a pirated copy as a teen many years ago so its good to finally support the dev :), The remastered version is top notch with the workshop and visuals!
A classic that never gets old
One of the greatest RTS' ever made. Homeworld 1 is definitely the stronger game, the retcon in H2 is really bad.
Once you understand how to play this game is super fun for the average RTS enjoyer
one of the best space games out there at least give it a try you wont regret it make sure your computer has the specs to run this cause some may not but man do i love this game it brings me back to younger years and better then ever!!!!!
The story spanning the two Homeworld games is simply beautiful and amazing. That alongside the soundtrack and the updated graphics, are easily the best parts of the two remastered games. This alone should justify a purchase of this collection, but if you have never played Homeworld before then I must warn you; the difficulty for both of the campaigns scale up and down depending on how well you play the game. This means that if you manage to amass a large fleet throughout your playthrough, the enemy AI for the next mission campaign will get significantly harder. And I mean, SIGNIFICANTLY harder. Obviously, this system exists so that it does not get too boring or easy for the player while they play through the campaigns. But the AI difficulty scaling is insane. Certain missions can become near impossible to beat, if not literally impossible, and this does mean that playing the game in a certain way - a way that I imagine is quite common, will make the game punish you immensely for it. This criticism isn't anything new. You can find a bunch of other people discussing it on the forums and in the reviews. It is most likely the biggest turn-off among people who want to play and enjoy these two games. I endured both campaigns this way and found it frustrating, but I judged the story and the soundtrack were good enough to carry me through until the end. If you intend to play the campaigns without downloading a community patch/workshop addon that changes the difficulty around to be more fair and reasonably balanced, then this is the best advice I can give you should you find yourself in a similar situation; load an autosave file from before you started the mission and dismantle most of your ships, then try again. It took me around ~28 hours to get 100% achievements.
Yeah, they kinda screwed up some UI and ship controls, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it's still an innovative game with a captivating story and a gorgeous soundtrack. Still worth the time to play it in my book.
Kinda janky for a timeless classic remaster. Still ... every few cycles, the planets align and I feel the urge to control space battles. This game tickles that pickle quite nicely. Story-wise ... It's as good as the series is going to get. HW3's story is lobotomized compared to its predecessor's.
